As soon as Ulysses saw Calliope like that, something twisted inside him. He stared at her, disbelief written all over his face.

But when he realized the guy standing in front of them was Julius, he looked even more stunned.

He could barely get the words out.

“Julius? You’re Julius Quillen?”

Ulysses felt his heart skip a beat. He was pretty well-known himself, but Julius was on a whole other level—a rising star, someone Ulysses really admired. Heck, Julius was basically a legend, and Ulysses had always looked up to him.

So naturally, he tried to be respectful.

“You remember me?” Julius narrowed his eyes, giving Ulysses a once-over. Then something seemed to click, and his lips curled into a half-smirk. “You’re Callie’s third brother, aren’t you? The one always giving her a hard time?”

Julius let out a cold laugh. “Well, sorry to break it to you. I’m her third brother, too. Only I don’t bully her. She’s the kind of girl you want to keep safe, not push around.”

He shot Ulysses a look. “What were you trying to make her do? Carry your luggage? She’s not your bellhop. I wouldn’t even let her walk too fast, let alone haul your bags.”

Ulysses frowned, confused. “What do you mean, you’re her third brother? I’m her real brother. What exactly is your relationship with her?”

Calliope looked at Ulysses, her expression flat. “You’re not my brother. I only have one third brother, and that’s him.”

Ulysses just stared, struggling to process it. He was her actual brother, wasn’t he? How could Calliope say that Julius was her brother instead of him?

He tried to explain, “You’ve got it all wrong. She’s just here to pick me up.”

Julius cut him off. “Yeah, well, how about you take your bags and head off, far away from us?”

“Should be any minute now. His flight landed right after yours,” Julius replied.

“Let’s wait for him here, then,” Quentin said with a grin.

His gaze then drifted to Ulysses, who was watching the scene in utter shock. Ulysses just couldn’t wrap his head around it. How did Calliope have all these brothers?

She seemed so at ease and genuinely happy around them, and they clearly doted on her.

A few minutes passed, and then Norton Shepherd appeared, jogging over with a huge smile.

“Callie! I missed you. Come give your bro a hug!”

Calliope grinned and threw her arms around Norton, hugging him tight.
