As the car door closed, the people outside the car had no way of knowing what would happen. 

“Take it to pay all the medical bills, please. Eddie handed a signed check to Louis and Olivia. 

Louis was totally humiliated by what Eddie had done. Anyhow, Louis was the boss of the Smith Group. Louis had already become used to the pride and arrogance of his high position and power. How could he accept a check from others? 

Louis waved his hand violently and shouted angrily, “Don’t act like a know–all! I don’t care about the money at all! You really think highly of yourself!” 

Hearing Louis‘ words, Eddie raised his eyebrow slightly. 

Anyone who saw David behaved respectfully and dared not provoke him. Louis was brave enough to be rude to David and Eddie.

The Smith Group was no match for David at all. It seemed that Louis, the young boss of the Smith Group, didn’t know what would happen to him if he continued to offend David. Nobody noticed that the window of the car rolled down. David said casually, “I will pay for your loss. I won’t owe you any money. By the way, do yourself a favor, and keep in mind that you can’t afford to offend me. This is the first time I give you a kind warning, but it’s also the last time.” 

David’s calm voice was cold as the icy spring and always had the power to make others quail in fear somehow. 

Louis and Olivia turned to look at the black Rolls–Royce at the same time. They were curious about the man behind the car window. 

David didn’t give them a chance to see his face. Instead, he closed the window directly and blocked the curious gazes of Louis and Olivia. 

The car slowly left. Louis was still wearing a sullen face. 

Olivia leaned in Louis‘ arms. She groaned painfully, with one hand on her arm. Hearing Olivia groan, Louis felt like a knife was piercing his heart. “Olivia, hold on. I’ll send you to the hospital right now.” 

Louis drove his car and left with Olivia. Now the farce seemed to be finally over. 

But at the same time, a video was posted on the Internet. The video was filmed by an onlooker and recorded the quarrel between the three people. Some netizens noted that Olivia, the famous young star, was in the video. Then the video went viral online, became a trending topic, and sparked a heated discussion. 

Soon, the video disappeared mysteriously, and all the websites on which the video was uploaded were not even available. So obviously, someone had done it on purpose. 

Netizens kept wondering who had brewed the plot behind the scenes. 

Olivia covered her arm with one hand and looked at Louis with a pale face. “Louis, I’m sorry for all the trouble. I didn’t expect it would turn out like this. I just hoped that Rachel could 

forgive us and no longer hate you. But, I screwed everything up…” 

After saying that, Olivia cried silently. With tears running down her pale cheeks, she looked more pathetic. 

Louis held her tighter in his arms. He wiped away the tears on her cheeks gently. “Olivia, you are always so kind and considerate. If Rachel could be as kind as you, she wouldn’t hurt you like this.” 

Thinking of what Rachel had done today, Louis squinted his eyes slightly with a hint of anger on his sullen face. 

Olivia bit her lips lightly and looked at Louis with her watery eyes. “I didn’t expect Rachel to be like this. It’s not all her fault. I’m responsible, too. I really worry about her… Aren’t you curious about that man in the car? How could Rachel be in Lansen Restaurant? Maybe she had no choice but to seek help from a powerful and influential man…” 

Louis denied flatly, “That’s impossible! Although Rachel is cold–blooded, she would never be like that!”
