"Get in car."
He called without waiting for her. He walked to the driver's side and hopped in. He ignited the motion. He hated to think that his planned had been boycotted. What he really came their for had been endangered. He couldn't keep up with the intended thoughts.
When she noticed that he meant what he had said, she couldn't ignore. She stepped into the car and he drove off.
He tried to sort his thoughts. Of course he knew that the girls were unpredictable and could do any thing. But he never thought that they could go to that length.
WHY?
He wished he had an answer to that question. Why would they go to that length? They wouldn't publicly and openly embrace him and wouldn't let him be?
The fact at that moment was that he didn't really care about how Elisa was feeling. All he could think of was his own rage. He felt like this was his own task to finish. Elisa was more like a supporting arc.
He would toss one idea to pick another in his mind. He was thinking of the best way to deal with the girls.
WTF!!!
He gritted his teeth. He wished he could punch something open.
Then suddenly, he felt a strange thing. It was a strange feeling which he never saw coming. It was more like a light in the midst of a thick and haunting darkness. It was hard to fathom.
It was a tiny feeling of joy. He didn't know where that feeling came from or what birthed it. He had no idea what to feel joyful about.
He had a conviction within him that the girls wanted him but pretended not to. That was a good thing. It was a thing that should boost a little bit of his ego.
But for some reason, he couldn't feel the importance anymore. A dead beast within him had been awoken. He could feel it ravaging his inside. And the fact was that, he wasn't willing to tame that beast.
He felt like he didn't have any use for any woman. He didn't have any need to be tied to any woman. He had several in his orders. He could just make the call.
A feeling told him that getting tied to one lady would become a fatal weakness to the person he was trying to become. He couldn't afford to nurse that weakness. Not because he was scared. He had a system to lean and rely on.
He realised in these past few days, he had allowed himself to be distracted. There were still quite the number of things to attend to. Being tied to a lady was far from his bucket list.
Even though he pretended to had forgotten about the strange man who appeared to him on the peak of the frozen island, yet those fat words of the man kept playing in his head. Occasionally haunting him. And he must be prepared for whatever was coming.
The only thing which was clear, but which he was reluctant to accept was the fact that if the girls hadn't put out the article, he wouldn't had been able to get that old self of him back.
He felt like the system made him smart but he decided to become dumb again. Or perhaps he was trying to play a game. But this time, that didn't seem to be a good option anymore. Things have gone south. And it was always the girls who were responsible.
At first, Claire was responsible for his death. And now...? Shredding and squashing the last iota of kindness and softness in him!!! He could swear that he was scared of what he was about to become in the next few days.
It was another thing to think that the system had an impact on this, but he couldn't find the facts to support that stance. It wasn't anything necessary.
They were approaching the Boldyville estate. Elisa would occasionally look at him. He didn't for once take a glance at her. His mind was occupied.
[Ping! Thousands of fans at the gate of the Boldyville Estate.]
The system warned him.
WOAH. IN JUST FEW MINUTES? DO THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO WORK AT ALL? WHY DO THEY TAKE GOSSIPS AS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THEIR LIVES?
He needed to remind himself again that, hurting the innocent and civilian wasn't part of his bucket list. If he didn't remind himself, he probably would be forced to break few bones of the thousand people. At the rate which his feelings and emotions were accelerating, he could annihilate a state. He could feel a surge in his body. It was as though his body and the system held a meeting behind him. Both seemed to be doing perfectly fine.
"I knew they would here."
He heard Elisa say. He glanced at her. Her face was still pale. He used to think she was a tough girl. Perhaps he was wrong about her. Plus he had no time to worry about something like that. He had no time to worry about someone else.
"There is a VIP entrance round the space. We could take that."
