"Yes, and she's perfect." I gave him a look that dared him to speak against it.

He bowed, "Sorry Alpha, I didn't mean to offend you, I'm just shocked that's all."

I took a breath to calm my wolf down. "Anyways, she's not too happy about us trying to buy her restaurant, so we must take a different angle."

"Of course." He nodded, understanding what I meant.

"I've set up a meeting with her tomorrow, so I need your help to make up something that will make sense."

He nodded and didn't say anything for a while. "How about you say instead of buying the restaurant you want to invest money into it. The restaurant itself have potential, it's been the town favorite for years. It's just a little outdated."

"I like that. Write down ways we can do that and the amount of money."

"I'll get right on it." He was about to leave when he turned back around. "I'm happy for you; she's going to make a great Luna."

"Thank you, Willie." He exited.

I woke up around six a.m. in the woods behind her house. After Willie left my office I tried focusing on work but with her scent and beautiful face still fresh on my mind it proved to be an impossible task. I ended up taking a run which eventually lead me to her house.

It was a three-story brick house with a dead garden on the side of it, from the window I looked into the house was well kept and she lived alone. It didn't make sense for her to live in such a big house alone. She lived on a street with few neighbors and way too close to the woods for my liking.

"I guess I will have to assign her guards," I told myself.

I arrived back at the pack house a seven a.m. sharp. Lily was sitting at the table eating oatmeal and Linda was cooking breakfast for the rest of the young wolves that had to be at school soon.

One thing about my pack is everybody was treated equally. Unlike most packs we didn't have an Omega, but everyone was required to fulfill a job whether it was being a tracker, a fighter or even a cook.

"Good morning Alpha, would you like some breakfast?"

"Yes please." I sat at the table across from Lily.

"Where have you been? And you smell really bad." She scrunched up her nose.

"None of your business." Linda place a bowl of oatmeal and a bowl of fruit in front of me. "Thank you, Linda, this looks delicious."

He nodded. "Good luck Alpha."

"Thank you. I going to need it."

LUNA ALEX

For some reason, I had woken up way earlier than usually, and I wasn't even tired considering I hadn't gone to sleep till almost two a.m. I took a shower and washed my hair.

When I got out of the shower I dressed in blue jean shorts and a white flowy vest top and white sandals. I left my hair curly and put on eyeliner, mascara, and a little lip balm on. It wasn't a lot of makeup but it was way more than I usually took the time to do unless it was an important event. But for some reason on this certain day I wanted to make sure I looked my very best.

I made sure to apply lotion to my legs and arms and lavender perfume over my body. I arrived at the diner at 6:30 a.m. I unlocked the doors and starting brewing a fresh pot of coffee, pulling myself a cup along with crème and sugar.

"You look nice," Melissa told me when she and her father entered the restaurant a little while later. "Does this have to do with the hottie that came in yesterday?" She smirked.

"What are you talking about? I dress up from time to time." I lied as I cleaned the counters.

I wasn't much of a girly girl, I mostly wore jeans and a t-shirt and only wore dressy things when there was an important event, the last one happens to be my father's funeral.
