"What's your name?" I sat down across from him.
"Victor." He spat.
"Nice to meet you, Victor, I'm Alpha Ryan, but I'm sure you knew that already."
"I did." He replied smartly.
"Tell me Victor, who sent you here." From the outside, I seemed cool and collected, but from the inside, I was fuming and wanted blood.
He laughed. "That's for me to know and you to find out."
"So, are you telling me that someone is planning on attacking my pack again?"
From the look in his eye, I could tell that that was something he hadn't meant to let slip out. "Maybe, maybe not." He smirked.
I stood up. "Victor I want to thank you for that valuable information, too bad you won't be alive to witness it happening."
I left the room, but not before signaling a guard over to me. "I want him dead, before nightfall," I ordered.
Killing a wolf has never been a walk in the park with me, but when it comes to my pack I would do anything to keep them safe.
"Yes, Alpha." He bowed.
LUNA ALEX
"Hey, sweetie. I know we didn't end on the right foot, but I really want us to have a better relationship. Life is too short to hold grudges... Please, I'm begging. I want to be in your life. Bye sweetheart. I-I love you."
When I arrived home that night that message was left on my answering machine by the lady that had birthed me, Heather. I didn't know how she got my number or why she was crying all throughout the voice mail. Hearing her cry or beg to be in my life didn't make me want to talk to her. All the nights that I cried myself to sleep after she left, she was never there. So why should I be there for her?

The next day when I was serving Mr. And Mrs. White their breakfast in walked Xavier. His eyes wandered around before landing on me. "Alex, how are you?" He walked up to me and pulled me in for a hug.
I had dated Xavier my last two years of high school. We had experienced lots of first together before breaking up the day before graduation. We didn't end on a bad note. We just knew the relationship wouldn't last after high school considering I was going to Princeton University, and he was going to Duke University on a full ride for basketball and business.
I ushered him into a booth away from the Mr. and Mrs. White, so they could enjoy their meal peacefully. "Good. You look great." I told him with a smile.
Over the past couple of months, he had gained a few pounds of muscle, shorten his hair and now had a 5 o'clock shadow. "Thank you, and you look beautiful as ever." He complimented me.
I smiled. "Xavier, always the charmer. But what brings you by?" I hadn't seen him since the day of my dad's funeral, he and my dad got along quite well, so it was no surprised that he was there.
ALPHA RYAN
"How are you?" I asked James.
It had been a couple of days and he had fully recovered and was soon to be able to leave the pack hospital after I had a talked with him.
He sat up. "Better. A lot better."
"Good." I took a seat in the chair closest to the hospital bed. "Someone is planning an attack on the pack."
"You think it's the same rogues as last time?" He questioned.
"Maybe," I said even though I was quite sure that it was.
He sat all the way up. "Have you talked to your dad?"
"Yes, he and my mom are on their way back now. It's not safe for them to be out there."
He nodded in agreement. "You might wanna minimize trips to the city, add 24-hour patrols."
