Walking into the pack house I was greeted by Tyler who was still in my office. "Out!" My wolf was at bay and if he didn't leave I was bound to attack him.
"Ryan what's going on?"
"Get the fuck out!" I flipped my desk over along with the document on top of it. I punched holes in the wall behind where my desk was once at and punching the glass out from my window.
"Ryan, relax man." Tyler placed his hand on my shoulder trying to calm me down. Instead, it only made me angrier. I grabbed his hand threw him into the wall and knocking him unconscious.
"Ryan sweetheart, what's going on?" My mother walked into the room wearing her robe. They had arrived a couple hours ago and had gone straight to their room without bothering to interrupt Tyler and me in our meeting. My father wasn't too far behind her in his pajamas, he had a strong grip on her arm trying to keep her as far away from as possible.
"Stand back." My father orders my mother.
She ignored him. "Just breathe." I did as she said and after a few minutes, my wolf had finally calmed down. My mother had always had a calming effect on my wolf.
"Sorry," I told Tyler's mate, Avery who had come in a few moments earlier hysterically crying. She along with Alice were crouched down in front of Tyler body trying to wake him up. She nodded but didn't respond. She, Alice along with Daniel helped move Tyler unconscious body to the pack hospital.
"Ryan what going on with you? Why did you attack Tyler?" My mom asked she had now came closer to me and begin rubbing my back to further sooth me. I was a mama's boy, sue me.
"I didn't mean to, it was my wolf."
"I've taught you to always have control over you wolf." My dad said disappointedly.
"I know." I held my head down in embarrassment.
Growing up my father made sure that I had 100% control over my wolf ever since he had seen me attack a human over a place in line.
"Ryan." She cupped my cheeks so that I was looking into her eyes. "Is this about your mate?" I nodded. "You will find her, I pro-." I cut her off.
"I found her my mate," I announced. She looks shocked before anger took over her face. "Ouch!" She pinched me.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Before I could respond she cut my off, "Who is she? Where is she? When are you gonna give me grandbabies?"
"Calm down honey." My father placed his hand on my mom's shoulder.
She turned and glared at him for only a second before he backed off and she turned back to me. "It's not that simple."
"And why is that?" She placed her hands on my hip.
"Enough." I gave her a look so that she knew I was serious.
"Fine, but on a serious note how did it go the other day." She said referring to the day I went to The Red Café.
For the last few days, Melissa had been on a girl's trip with her mother, her aunt, and few of her cousins. Leaving me to run the front of the restaurant alone.
"It was good, I think I'm gonna do it. More money to put in the restaurant and in my pocket."
"I think it's a great idea. Can I get a raise?" She smiled innocently.
"Thank you, and no." I laughed.

I ended up closing the restaurant a little after p.m. I hurried home, showered and got dressed in black leather high waisted shorts and a short sleeved maroon shirt that showed off my mid drift and black sandals. My hair was still curly from earlier so I didn't bother messing with it. For makeup, I did a gold eyeshadow and black liquid eyeliner and added more mascara.
At exactly 9 p.m. Xavier was at my door wearing dark jeans and a dark blue collar shirt holding roses in his hand. "You look beautiful." He wrapped his arms around my waist hugging me before kissing my cheek.
