Before I got to see what else my mom had in store I heard a car pull up.

Ready or not, her she comes.

LUNA ALEX

I was nervous. Beyond nervous.

After an hour of changing clothes, I had finally decided on black high waisted shorts, with a white shirt that was tucked into the shorts, with a black blazer and white heels with a strapped that wrapped around my ankle.

I had attempted to flat iron my hair but it didn't really work out so I just left it the way it always been in its natural curly state. After hours of trying on clothes and attempting to change my hair, I really didn't feel like doing anything but the bare minimum when it came to make-up so I just added red lipstick and a thick layer of liquid eyeliner to go over my eyelid.

I was just about to put on my shoes and head out when there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see a teenage boy most likely no older than sixteen with dark brown straight hair and bright green eyes. "Alex?" He asked. He was wearing a suit and in the background, I could see and hear his black car running.

"Yes, can I help you?" I asked politely

"My names is Daniel and I was sent by Ryan to drive you to his residence." I looked at him suspiciously.

"Me?" I pointed to myself.

He shook his head 'yes'. "Yes, are you ready or do you need a couple of minutes?"

I should have expected something this, Ryan was super rich. "Sure, I'll be ready in about two minutes." He nodded and retreated back to his car.

I put on my heels and grabbed my purse and headed out the door, locking it behind me. He opened the door, "Thank you."

"Welcome." He shut the door behind me.

It took us about forty-five minutes to get to Ryan's house. He lived deep in the woods, as long as I lived here I've never even heard of this place. His house was a five-story brick house with a long driveway that was filled with relatively nice cars, surrounding the house was an iron gate. This shouldn't have been a surprise because he was super rich. What was surprising was that there was another house in the distance, some on his land and others surrounding his.

"Wow, what is this place?" I said out loud thinking no one had heard me.

Even though I was only 18 I had, had my fair shares of alcohol. "S-Sure."

He smiled and retreated to what I assumed was the kitchen. While he was gone I looked around the room and couldn't help but notice that this was a very romantic setting. From the flowers to the dimmed lights and soft music playing in the background. I noticed that it was Adorn an older Miguel song that just so happen to be one of my favorites.

Moments later he emerged with two glasses of wine. "Thank you." He nodded and handed me the glass and sat his on the table before going back to the kitchen and coming back with two plates that consisted of steak, potatoes, and asparagus.

"Did you cook this?" I asked as he sat the plate down in front of me and the other one at his seat. I notice that he had double the amount of food on his plate as mine.

He must have been starving.

"Yes." He took a seat across from me.

"While this does look delicious I would like to know why you decide to pay off my debt," I said cutting to the point.

"How about we eat first?" He suggested. "I worked really hard on this and I would hate for it to just go to waste."
