LUNA ALEX

Spending time with Liz and the kids turned out not to be so bad. I was beginning to see some improvement in Liz, but I still remained cautious. This was not the first time that she had made it seem like she was changing, before resorting back to her old ways. We got to see the bears, tigers and the many different types of birds. Afterwards, we took the kids to the restaurant to get some dinner.

"Okay birthday girl, what will it be?" I asked looking down at her.

"This." She smiled before pointing at the picture of the hamburger and fries.

"Okay." I wrote down her order along with Tom, Jerry and Liz's. I handed the order to Melissa.

"By the way, a man came by looking for you." She told me after handing her father the order.

"Who was he?" I grabbed cups and filled them up with lemonade.

She shrugged. "Don't know he just says he wanted to talk to you."

I groaned. "Please don't tell me it was that guy that was trying to get me to sell this place."

"What? You're selling the restaurant?" Liz asked coming up from behind me.

"What? No!" I shook my head. "An older gentleman came by and asked me to sell this place to his boss. And I said no of course."

"Well, I don't know if we're talking about the same guy. This dude was hot. Literally the hottest guy I've ever seen." She exaggerated.

"And he came here to see Alex." Melissa nodded. "Wonder why?" Liz smiled evilly at me.

"Don't get ahead of yourself I don't even know the man." I placed the drinks in front of the kids before walking back over to the counter.

"Well, he seems to know you." I rolled my eyes and headed to the back to check on our orders.

I had just locked the door and was walking to my car when I saw her. It was the first time that I had seen her since my father's funeral. As soon as she steps foot in, I had her escorted out. There was no way in hell that I was gonna let her come and make everything about her. My father hated her and I have no idea why she would come in the first place.

"Hey." She sat down in the chair that was centered in front of my desk. "So I thought about what you said and you were right. I do need to focus more on my school work. And I sorry for trying to undermine your authority."

After our argument, Lily tried to call our parents to try to get them to convince me that what I did was wrong and that I should talk with the principal who was a part of our pack to get her from going to summer school. They ended up phoning me and telling me what she did.

"I accept your apology." She came over to give me a hug and a kiss on the cheek before going back to her seat. "I know that I need to focus more on school, which I promise I am. I been going to summer school and even staying after for extra help."

I knew that she was only saying and doing all this so that I would let her go to the Summer Moon Bash. "I know what you are trying to do." She sighed.

"Please, Ryan! I've already bought a dress and everything. You can talk to my teachers to see that I really am improving."

"I am gonna check. And if what you say is true then you can go."

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She said jumping up and down. "I promise you won't regret it. And after I will continue to keep my grades up."

"Okay, I will call your teacher in the morning." Today was Thursday and the young wolves were set to leave Friday morning. So, tomorrow would be the last day to make my decision.
