He laughed, walked over to me and gave me a peck on the cheek, "I'll be right back. I have to go change... unless you want to come with." He wriggled his eyebrows and gave me a smirk.
I whacked him on the head,"No! Now shoo!"
I can hear him laughing as he walked up the stairs. I got up and walked over to the sink to wash my dish. Bored out of my mind, I grabbed a tub of Ben&Jerry's strawberry ice cream and settled on the couch to watch a movie.
I groaned, there wasn't anything good to watch and what the hell is taking him so long just to change and people say girls take longer to change. About twenty more minutes later, he walked down the stars with a white t-shirt and khakis. He climbed onto the sofa and cuddled up to me.
"I HAVE THE PERFECT NICKNAME FOR YOU!" I yelled jumping off the sofa. He pouted at the loss of contact and tried to pull me back to him.
"That will be...?"
"CUDDLE-BEAR!"
"What?" He replied, "How on Earth does that suit me?"
"Because you like to cuddle."
"Do not."
"Do too."
"No I don't."
"Yes you do."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"NO."
"YESS."
"Fine whatever!" He said throwing his hands up in the air.
I mentally did a happy dance.
"But it has to be something manlier."
I sighed, boys and their egos. "How about Bear?"
"No..."
I rolled my eyes, "We're not having this argument again. It's either Cuddle-bear or Bear, your choice."
He groaned and muttered a 'fine."
I grinned. Just then, the door flung open and Luke,Josh,Chloe, and Liam came in. Liam bounced over to the couch across from the one Austin and I are sitting and flopped down. Yes, he literally just bounced.
"This couch is mine!" He declared flopping his arms and legs over the couch.
Luke raised his eyebrow, "Oh really?" He slowly started to walk over to the couch. Once he's near Liam, he flung him off the couch.
"Hey!"
We laughed as Liam pouted.
"Don't separate me from meh bestie!!!"
"Are you a girl?" Josh said trying to cover up his laughter.
"What the fuck? No I'm not."
I can hear him laughing through the mind link.
"Well, babe, you didn't ask and I thought you already knew."
"YOU LITTLE"
I got cut off as he shut off the mind link. Oh, he's so dead. I went behind a tree and shifted into my fox. I continued running with a new burst of speed.
As I passed them, Chloe cheered, "COME ON SKY, TWO MORE MILES!"
I huffed and as I passed Austin, I whacked him with my tail.
"Hey!"
I snorted and continued running. Suddenly, something gray flashed by me causing me to stop. I sniffed the air but smell nothing. I shrugged and continued running. But then the same gray flashed to my left. I stopped, growing annoyed.
"Is she here?" A voice asked, one I don't recognize.
I looked around for a hiding place, but found none. The bushes here are too small for me. Footsteps were heard, and they were coming towards me. Think, think Sky...
Of course! I've been starting to panic that I forgot that I could shrink my size. Stupid Sky. I quickly shrinked so I looked like a regular sized fox and changed my white fur to brown just to be safe.
I went into the bush just in time to see two figures emerge from the trees. They were armed with weapons.
Hunters Snow said
Ah shit.
"She has to be here somewhere,"The hunter with brown hair crouched down and patted the dirt with his fingers. "The tracks are still fresh, search the area." If I hadn't noticed it before, I'd say they look like they're twins.
The black hair hunter started searching, looking up into trees, behind bushes, and in them. I squeezed my eyes shut, hoping he won't find me.
He came nearer with every second that passed. I curled up and pretended I was asleep. He would buy it...right? I felt the bush I was hiding in shook as he parted the branches. I forced myself to relax.
