"Hey Roger! There's a fox here. Is this her?" He said. I heard footsteps coming over.
"I don't think so..." The brown haired hunter said or Roger.
"Are you sure? You said she's a fox."
"Unless, she's the size of a werewolf, has snow white fur, and blue eyes, then this isn't her."
I was yanked out of the bush by my scruff. I growled at them. Ok, lets put my acting skills on. I struggled and scratched at Roger's hand, growling.
"Son of a bitch!" He cursed dropping me on the ground.
I growled at them and backed away.
"Why did you wake it up?! Can't you see it was sleeping?!" Black hair dude said.
"Shut it Mason, we had to make sure."
"Didn't you say she has snow white fur and the size of a werewolf?! Are you blind?! This fox has brown fur and it's no bigger than a normal sized wolf!" Mason said glaring at Roger.
"OK DON'T NEED TO YELL!"
As they continued bickering, I quietly slinked away. I ran back to the others. I burst from the woods heading towards Austin.
"Hey Austin, look there's a little fox coming towards you," The unmistakeable voice of Liam said.
Austin turned around and stared at me. Once I'm near him, I jumped at him. He opened his arms and caught me. He looked confused at first but once our skin came in contact sparks flew and recognition was in his eyes.
"Sky? What happened?" He asked, petting my head. I purred and leaned in.
Ok, this is distracting. I looked at Chloe and found them all staring at me. I snorted at her and she ran and grabbed some clothes from behind a tree. I jumped off of Austin's arms and grabbed them, going behind a tree to shift. I quickly put on the clothes and walked back out.
"Wait, you can change your fur color and size?!" Josh asked, eyes wide.
"Yup," I said popping the 'p."
"Why-"
I held up my hand, "Now's not the time. I had a little encounter with some hunters."
"What?! Did they see you? Did they hurt you? Are you okay? Are-" Austin said rushing over to me and looking me over.
"I'm fine, sheesh have some faith in me will ya?"
That didn't stop him from checking me all over.
(A/N: Not like that you dirty minded people... O.o)
"Ok, did you say hunters?" Josh asked sniffing the air trying to see if they are still here.
"Yup and quit sniffing, they're probably gone now," I said.
"I'll send out more patrols when we get back to the pack house," Austin said once he made sure I was ok.
He started leaning in, and on instinct I leaned in. Our lips were barely a centimeter away when the front door banged open. Austin growled for getting interrupted.
"SHOW NO FEAR FOR THE HERO IS HERE!" A voice none other that Liam yelled.
A whack was heard followed by an, "Ow!"
Chloe, Liam,Josh, and Luke appeared in the doorway. Seeing our close proximity, Chloe raised an eyebrow, "Did we interrupt?"
I smiled at them and shook my head though a part of me was disappointed that they interrupted our kiss.
"Let's do something fun today," Chloe said clapping her hands.
"Don't we do something fun everyday?" Luke asked.
"Shut up, smartass," Chloe said.
"Make me," Luke said, smirking.
"Don't even think about it," Austin said glaring at Luke.
"Ok sheesh, chill."
"Alpha, there's a weird scent at the border' a pack member said.
Without another word, Austin ran out of the kitchen just to return back in a few seconds to kiss me on the lips then he's out again. I blinked, trying to make sense of what happened.
