Fox Shifter novel Chapter 3

I didn't notice that the dark brown wolf has shifted back until a sharp pain collided with the side of my head. Dark spots filled my vision. Before blacking out I heard him say, "Let's bring her to the Alpha see if he believes us now."

Luke's POV

So it was Josh's idea which I think is still pretty stupid attacking a grown fox that's the size of a wolf. I mean seriously what was he thinking? That vixen could have a mate somewhere and have pups somewhere out there.

Me and Liam shifted back and together we hoisted the fox on our shoulders.

5 mins later

We put her down on the cell floor and put a metal collar you can say on her neck.

"There that'll hold her down, she can't be that strong" I said pursing my lips

"Ok I'll go call Austin and let him know" Josh said shutting the door behind him

"She's really pretty" Liam said stroking her fur

"Mhm watch until she wakes up she'll probably bite your fingers off. We don't know if she's dangerous or not"

His eyes widen and quickly steps away.

Heavy footsteps sounded at the door. Josh reappeared with Austin behind him. He looks annoyed like always. When his eyes landed on the fox he stopped and stared eyes wide.

"Oh my...." he says stopping mid sentence

"See we told you it is real not some myth" says Josh a satisfied smirk on his face

A huff of breath made us all turn our heads. The snowy white fox was waking up. Its bright blue eyes opened and stared at us.

"Mate"

All three our eyes popped out. Mate? Does he mean the fox or he means one of us. OH MY GOD is he gay? I mean there's nothing wrong with being gay everyone deserves a chance to love and care about someone.

"What do you mean mate?" asked Liam

Instead of answering he ignored him and walked up to the fox petting her fur.

When it came back to what he was doing he snatched his hand back and stepped back and shook his head.

"My mate can't be a fox" he says and with that he left the room

We were standing there staring at the door when a whimper caught our attention.

The fox was sitting there looking at us with a pained expression. I feel sorry for her I mean I know she's a fox and stuff but come on.

Together Liam,Josh, and I left the room and walked towards Austin's room.

We heard a loud crack and we raced into his room. There on the wall is a gigantic hole the size of a clock.

Skyler's POV

It's a feeling I can't describe. It's like a pull towards that unknown guy. When I looked into his eyes, I felt ...complete.

I growled in fustration, yanking at the metal collar around my neck. I need to find a way out of here like ASAP.

The door burst open.

"What's with all the noise?" the guy, Josh, I think asked walking over to my 'cage'.

I didn't say anything (not like I can). He opened the cell door and stepped in slowly making his way towards me. I plopped my butt down on the floor.

He inched his way closer. When he was two centimeter away he reached out his hand and petted my furry head.

"Um I gotta go bye!" with that he dashed out of the cell, tripping over board and fell flat on his face.

He got back up, face red, and ran out the door.

I chuckled and shifted back to my fox.

Josh's POV

Holy shit that was embarrassing. I walked through the hallway wondering why she forgot me.

You hole ass where on the freakin universe have you been?! yelled Liam in the mind-link

Come into the kitchen, Luke is about the blow up the entire pack house!

Oh my god. I rushed to the kitchen to see the stove half burnt. The two idiots were arguing and shoving each other.

"I TOLD YOU TO NOT LEAVE THE STOVE ON WHILE WATCHING TV!" Liam growled pointing at Luke with an accusing finger.

"HEY IT'S NOT MY FAULT! YOU SHOULD'VE REMINDED ME SINCE YOU KNOW I FORGET THINGS VERY EASILY!"

"GUYS! YOU TWO FREAKIN IDIOTS, AUSTIN WILL HAVE BOTH YOUR HEADS!"

"I'M REALLY SOR-"

"Whatever lets get this cleaned up before Austin finds out." I interrupted him

"Find out about what?" a new voice said. We all froze and turned around. There standing by the doorway was none other that Austin, eyes blazing with anger.
