Skylar's POV

Uh there's nothing to do here. Freakin dirty, empty, wet, boring cell.

What have you been doing this whole time?

No answer. Uh ok. I tugged on the collar but it still wouldn't budge.

Great who knows how long I will be staying here.

30 min later

The door banged open. Guess who's standing at the door? Yep the Alpha who tends to have mood swings.

He walked over to my 'cage' and took out a key. He unlocked the door and walked in. I stared at him. Again that feeling was back.

Snow started jumping in excitement. I sat down and continued staring. He inched closer and held out his hand.

I looked at it uncertainly and let out a low growl.

"Shhh it's ok I won't hurt you"

I scoot closer to the corner. Ugh I need to get out of here not forming relationships with werewolves.

He sighed and walked back out of the cell locking it in the process.

Josh's POV

We were stuck cleaning the kitchen that Luke has made.

"Hey what do you think about the fox?" asked Liam

"What do you mean?"

"About the mate thing"

"Well I think Austin's mate's scent is on her so he thinks the fox is her mate," said Luke.

Huh if only they knew. I wonder how she's doing down there. We cleaned up the rest of the mess and walked outside.

"Guys I forgot to get something from my room I'll be right back" I told them. They nodded and continued walking towards the woods.

I ran down to the cells making sure no one's looking. Austin's scent was stale so he has been in here.

The fox looked up as I approached. She painfully shifted back and quickly put on the clothes I gave her last time.

"Hey I never got your name," I said

"It's Skyler," she said

"So... how are you doing down here?"

She gave me an 'are you stupid' look.

I grinned and sat down next to her.

"What's your name?"

"It's Josh" I said

She nodded. Suddenly banging was heard outside the door. Uh oh...

Skyler quickly shifted back just in time as the door burst open revealing Luke and Liam.

"Hear what?" Luke asked giving him an ' you going insane' look.

"Never mind..."

Yep I can mind link with anything. Well not anything but living things, humans not included. Just found out while I was running in the woods the other day, the day when.... anyways.... stumbled upon a rabbit. Yep, a rabbit.

"looks like someone's about to go insane"

Ha! He looks like he had just seen a ghost.

"I'm right here you idiot"

"Wh-Who's there?" he called out earning a confused look from Luke and a knowing smile from Josh.

"Bro... who are you talking to?" Luke asked

"IDK THERE'S THIS VOICE IN MY HEAD!" he yelled panicking.

"I think you should call 911 he's about to have a panic attack' I mind linked Luke.

This time it was his turn to look around. I let out a bark of laughter. Josh chuckled.

"It's not funny you know," Luke said

Josh already knew I could mind link anyone a few days ago when we were getting to know each other.

"Should we tell them?' Josh mind linked me

"Eh... I'd rather keep tormenting them"

"Ah being sneaky huh? I see"

I got up and walked over to Luke who was still looking around. I nudged his leg. He nearly jumped seven feet in the air. He looked down at me in surprise. I nodded my head in Josh's and Liam's direction inviting him to join our mini circle. I walked over and laid stretched out in the middle my paws touching Luke's knee, my head on Josh's lap and my back paws touching Liam's lap.
