Fox Shifter novel Chapter 7

"Ok, we need to get you something to wear," she says as she goes through her closet fishing out clothing.

"Here," she says as she gave me a blue v-neck, striped t-shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. I put them on and surprisingly they fit.

"LETS GO SHOPPING!" she exclaimed dragging me down the stairs and towards the door but was stopped by Austin.

"Where do you two think you're going?" he asked.

"Shopping," Chloe stated as if it is obvious.

"No."

"What?! Why?!"

"My mate isn't going anywhere near other guys especially horny ones."

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? SHE-"

I interrupted her before this gets into a full blown argument. "Austin I'm capable of taking care of myself. Besides, Chloe's here with me." I gave him the puppy dog look. He looked away, shuffling his feet. He glanced back at me and his face softened.

"Ok fine," he sighed.

"YES!" we cheered.

"But," he said and we groaned. Of course there's always a but. Can't leave it out.

"What?" I asked.

"The guys will have to come with you," he said looking satisfied.

"What?! We don't need body guards! We're not five!" I said, glaring at him.

"That's fine with me," Chloe said shrugging.

I opened my mouth to protest but Chloe quickly slapped her hand on it. Ow.

"Ok it's settled then. JOSH!LUKE! LIAM!" he yelled.

"What is it?" Liam asked appearing in the doorway along with Josh and Luke.

"I want you to go with Chloe and Sky to the mall."

"YEASHH!! SHOPPING!" Liam cheered whilst he others groaned.

We hurried out to Josh's shiny, white Honda Civic Sedan.

"I call shotgun!" I yelled as I jumped into the passenger seat.

"Hey no fair! I always sit there!" Liam whined. The others laughed.

"And I'm driving!" Chloe yelled grabbing the keys from Josh.

"You son of a...."

"Sorry! What did you say?" Chloe said climbing into the driver seat.

Everyone piled in grumbling. This is going to be fun....

Skyler's POV

We arrived at the mall half an hour later.The guys were complaining the whole way.

"Are we there yet?" Liam whined.

"OH MY GOD IF YOU DON'T SHUT YOUR GODDAMN MOUTH I WILL RIP YOUR TONGUE OUT OF YOUR MOUTH!" yelled Chloe. Liam's eyes widened and he immediately shut his mouth. I chuckled.

Guess she's the leader of the slutties said Snow

"These freaks should better learn who they're messing with." I raised a brow.

She took a step forward until we're nose to nose. The others backed away. Great. Tell me I'm not all alone in this.

Yep you are. I rolled my eyes.

She raised her hand and slapped me. Hard. My head snapped to the side. Anger boiled within me, I can feel my eyes switching from brown to blue. I growled.

Without warning, I raised my fist and punched her in the nose. She screamed as she fell flat on the floor. The guys and Chloe was trying hard not to laugh.

"You bitch!" She jumped up and held up her fist. In a flash, I was holding her fist in my hands. By now, I'm pretty sure my eyes are a darkened shade of blue. Her eyes widened, she whimpered as I held her fists tighter.

I leaned in, "Next time you even call my friend a freak, I'll mess up your little ugly face, bitch."

She ran away with her little minions behind her asking if she was okay.

"WOW," said Luke gaping at me.

"Are you ok?" Chloe said rushing over and looking me up and down.

"I'm fine, now let's go get something to eat shall we?"

"YEA!"

We headed over to an empty table and told the guys to watch our stuff while we go order. We went to McDonalds and ordered all our food. After we picked our food up we went back to the guys.

"Eat up!" Chloe exclaimed pushing the trays toward them

They dug in, Josh stuffed about seven fries in his mouth while Liam already finished his burger. Luke was still slowly eating. Good thing someone listened.
