A sinister smile form on his lips. "You lot might get save, but how about the Shadow Pack?"

"You wouldn't dare!" My mother yell, as she glare at the man in front of us.

"Eh, but that's the plan. The Shadow Pack, where you headed is just a small pack and they don't have enough fighters that can stop my men from attacking them once they don't heard about me in an hour.."

Josh growl at him, but the man just laugh at us mockingly. Then suddenly, he was shot.

Bloods flow out from an open wound on his forehead and he slump head first on the car seat in front of us.

I'm quite sure too, that whoever attack him is quite good because I can't see trees or any higher places where he can take a clean shot and kill this guy.

"What the fuck?!" My mother yelp as she open the door and look around, following her I also step out of the car but I can't sense nor feel anyone beside us.

Josh whistle when he came in front of the car and saw the windshield which has a clean hole on the middle.

"Well, whoever done this really help us, but we don't have any time now. We still need to help the Shadow Pack." My mom exclaim through gritted teeth.

"And who do you think is the one at fault here?!" I huff annoyingly, just to yelp painfully when my mom smack my behind.

"Stop yapping and move your asses!"

Ugh... I knew it, I should not have come!

Not far from them a young boy on his early teens came out from a man made cave. His face is covered with mud, as well as his clothes. A riffle on his shoulders, as he slowly trudge towards a beat up car.

Opening the door, he hop on the driver seat. Standing because his legs can't touch the bottom of the car when he's sitting with his short legs, he start the car and drove slowly.

His place is not far from there, but because of his slow driving skills he arrive an hour later.

Huffing, he jump out the car and walk over his small cabin while pulling a large duffel bag.

Upon entering, he lock the door and slump down at one of his old sofa.

I didn't pay him any attention as I begin sniffing the air. My excitement grew when I smell it near us.

"Louis, what's wrong with you man?" Josh exclaim with worry as he suddenly grip my arms.

But I just growl at him. I don't know why, but I felt my wolf become angry with him for some unknown reason.

"Hey man, whoa...okay.., just calm down! What's the matter with you anyway?!''

Soft click of shoes came toward us, "What's wrong with you guys?'' My mother's voice ask, then they begin to talk but I stop paying them any attention as I begin to walk again. Opening a door, a small make shift kitchen came to my view.

Walking around, the smell is all over the place. Heightening my senses, I heard soft breathing and a quiet heartbeat. My wolf yelp happily inside of my head, and my body just begin to move on its own as I quietly walk over a box which is situated in the corner.

"Hey Louis Caine Lexus! You stop right there and talk to me!" My mother's angry voice boom, but I don't pay her any attention as I slowly lift the lid of the box.

"Mate!!"
