Is Phyllis Leaving Genoa City? Michelle Stafford Seeks Fan Input on “Y&R”

As the 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards quickly approaches on June 7th, The Young and the Restless star Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) is getting ready for the prestigious ceremony. However, the glamorous actress has found herself in a fashion dilemma – which stunning dress should she wear for the red carpet?

Rather than agonizing over the decision alone, Stafford took to social media to enlist the help of her fans and co-stars. In a fun video montage, she showcased behind-the-scenes glimpses of her life over “the last few days,” a mix of “not so glamorous” moments like helping her kids Natalia and Jameson wrap up the school year, as well as more exciting scenes of Stafford trying on potential Emmy dresses.

“Which dress do you guys like for the Emmys?” she asked her followers. With an array of gorgeous options to choose from – including gowns in shimmering gold, vibrant green, crisp white, romantic pink, and sunny yellow hues – Stafford hilariously admitted, “I’m leaving it up to you” when she couldn’t decide on just one favorite herself.

Her fashionable daytime TV peers were quick to weigh in with their votes. The Young and the Restless’ Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson) gave her stamp of approval for “the white or pink” dresses, while co-star Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair) couldn’t decide between the “mint green” and pink looks, deeming them both fabulous with “all pretty!”

General Hospital’s Finola Hughes, who made a cameo in Stafford’s video, threw her support behind the pink and golden “citrine” gowns. Meanwhile, Days of Our Lives actress Tamara Braun (Ava Vitali) jokingly requested to “borrow your body please?” before revealing the pink and gold frocks were her top picks for Stafford.

No matter which designer dress Stafford ends up selecting with the help of her fans, there’s no doubt she’ll be turning heads on the Daytime Emmys red carpet. The talented actress is celebrating her 28th nomination this year for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her work as Genoa City schemer Phyllis Summers.

With such an impressive roster of drop-dead gorgeous gown contenders, the only question is – which glamorous look will Michelle Stafford grace the Emmy stage in when the 51st annual awards are handed out in just a couple weeks? Fans will have to tune in on June 7th to see which show-stopping number she chooses!
