Chapter 56 

Alex’s POV 

The bustling atmosphere of the mall surrounds us as Del and I make our way through the crowds. 

various stores, checking off each item one by one – thankful that 

Armed with Lottie’s carefully curated list of birthday gifts for Anna, we navigate the var they are mostly all in stock. 

It’s a welcomed distraction from the tension and anticipation that has been building since we discovered the whereabouts of Lottie’s stalkers…. 

I would probably lose my shit waiting around the house all day! I already had to fight the urge to just go over there and end them… 

Del and I share a few laughs and lighthearted conversations as we shop, allowing ourselves a momentary respite having heard no updates of the three leaving the trailer park yet 

But despite our shop, amidst the laughter and natural chaos of the mall, my thoughts kept drifting back to Lottie… and our heartfelt conversations… 

As I browse through the displays, my eyes catch sight of a jewelry store… 

I decide to go towards it, leaving Del at the makeup counter as he attempts to explain to the female staff member what he was looking for… humorous to say the least since none of us had a single clue about makeup! 

The bell above the door jingles as I enter, and I’m immediately greeted by the glimmering showcases filled with exquisite expensive pieces. 

I approach the counter, my attention drawn to a delicate necklace adomed with a heart–shaped pendant. The pendant can be engraved with a personalized message, and I know instantly that it’s the perfect gift for my Lottie 

I had never bought such a gift before, especially for a female since it always seemed too mature – that is until Lottie came into my life. 

I want nothing more at this point than to make her feel special. After everything the girl has endured, it’s what she deserves…. 

“See something you like son? The small woman comes to my aid, as I clear my throat awkwardly. 

“I would like to purchase this necklace and have it engraved for my girlfriend…” point with my large finger to the necklace in question, as she glances down at it before returning her gaze back to me. 

“The small diamond detail on the heart makes that specific necklace a lot more expensive…but we have another the exact same without the stone for a quarter of the price… perhaps that will suit your budget more? The females voice is presented in a polite fashion, however she doesn’t fail to insult me as her eyes seem to rake over my appearance next… 

What? Am I too good looking to be rich? Fuck off 

“I can afford anything in here but thank you for your useless comment… for that, I take the matching earrings as well–all with the diamonds included!” 1 grit out, as she seems to scamper after hearing my tone. 

“Oh… yes of course sirt Right away! What would you like engraved on the back of the necklace? The female avoids eye contact now, as I enjoy watching her squirm under my presence. 

She was fucking nude! 

“My Doll.” I tell her, as she nods and writes the words down. 

“O–Ok perfect! It will be ready for you in twenty minutes if you want to come back then.” I nod at her words, before exiting the store with my many bags in hand, only to find Del outside waiting on me. 

“Buy something nice?” Del mocks me instantly as I roll my eyes. 

He’s an ass! 

I discover the store that specializes in sneakers, and my eyes light up when I spot the pink Nike Dunk trainers, just like the ones Lottie had admired for

Chapter 56 

I quickly purchase two pairs, envisioning the joy on Lotte’s face when she see them and finds out they will be matching. 

return back to pick up the necklace, having finalised the last few things on the list folowed be purchasing some wrapping accessories last…. 

Your total for the necklace and earrings all in is 56,872… Del practically shorts from beside me, as glare at him briefly before swiping my card. 

The female watches me in home, having not expected me to afford such items, as I take the eight bag from her hands and exit the store – leaving 

prechins. 

Del und 1 muke our way back to the house, arms laden with shopping bags. We call ahead of time, to chinitaly find that Anna had just gone off to shower, allowing is time to sneak the gifts in- taking them upstairs. 

we enter, we find Lottie waiting for us in my room. A smile lights up her face when she sees us. Toute hilly back: Did you manage to find itverything on the ? She asks eagerly as I nod, placing the bags on the floor. 

Del does the same, before leaving quickly to go downstairs to make something to eat complaining that he

She eyes me carefully, before pulling out the firme box – unlocking it to ket inside. 

“Ales… you didn’t have tu… Lottie whisper, her voce oversheimed and sounding as though she was ready to cry. 

“It’s a real diamond too.. only the best for you…. admires the buck 

put the back engraved.” I can’t help but boast, as she pulls the dainty piece from its best and 

“My doll.” She reads aloud, as I nod – watching a smile top at her lips. 

“I love it so much! Could you put it on for me? Latte als het, handing me the small item. 

I try my best to handle it with care, as I place it around her neck and struggle with my large hands to fasten it before finally… it hooks.

Chapter 56 

1 step back to admire it around her neck, proud that I had given her such an item. 

“I love it so much you don’t understand… Lottie glances in the mirror, before I smile at the outcome of the gift. 

“Dont forget there’s another box!” I tell her, as her eyes widen in remembrance. 

She rushes back to the bag, pulls out the second box, and opens it to find the matching earrings. 

This set… is something I’ve only ever dreamed of owning Alex. Lottie begins as she smiles. 

“I’ve had the same stud earrings in my ears since I was six… I didn’t ever want to take them out other than to clean them in fear that my ears would close up and I knew that my Mom would never pay for me to have them pierced again so this really does mean so much more to me than you realise… I’ve always wanted new ones nicer ones – as opposed to my plain ones!” Lottie stares down fondly at the heart shaped studs, before rushing

off to the bathroom to put them in herself. 

I’m glad I could be the person to give her that experience… 

She soon returns, the shiny hearts noticeable around her neck and on her small ears. Perfect. 

*Thank you again.” Lottie comes to me, as I kiss her longingly. 

This female has well and truly turned me soft… 

But only for her! 

“Let’s start wrapping these gifts for Anna shall we? It will take forever!” Lottie then chuckles, taking a look at the number of bags, as I sigh and find a seat on the floor. 

Today felt a whole lot better and I didn’t want anything or anybody to ruin that…. 

My doll deserves the world!
