Chapter 58 

Alex’s POV 

As we arrive at Aunt Rinna’s house for Anna’s birthday dinner, my mind is consumed with the urgent update I received about Tommy, Jason, and Holden on the drive over here. 

The three have now made their way into town and are now dangerously close to Freddie’s bar. I discreetly check my phone and confirm their proximity with one of my men……. 

Keeping my composure, I join the others inside Aunt Rinna’s cray home. Having driven behind Anna the whole way over here as an extra precaution, I now could breathe. 

The aroma of home–cooked food fills the air, mingling with the chatter and laughter of everyone in the dining room. It’s Anna’s special day, and we’re determined to make it memorable despite the looming threat…. 

I glance at Jace and Del, exchanging a knowing look. They’re the only ones that I want knowing of this information. I motion for them to follow me to a quieter corner of the house, away from the rest. 

“Listen, I’ve had an update,” 1 begin in a hushed tone. “Tony, Jason, and Holden are now in town, and they’re dangerously close to Freddie’s bar. This might be our only chance to lure them in 1 inform the pair. 

Jace’s eyes narrow with concern, while Dells jaw clenches. They understand the gravity of the situation and the potential danger that they pose to Lottie and they want this shit dealt with just as badly as I do…. 

“We can’t let them get anywhere near Lottie, Jace asserts, his voice filled with determination, “What’s the plan? Does Freddie know what’s happening?” He questions as I nod.

“Freddie knows the plan and is awaiting my call. We just need to make sure that they enter the bar first. I direct, as Del speaks next 

“Send one of our guys over there… get friendly with them. then he can tell them that Freddie will serve them alcohol even if they are underage… lure them in that way?” Dell tosses up the idea, as I get out my phone. 

I make a call to Samual, since he was already on their tail.. 

“Alex…” His rough voice comes to meet my ear almost instantly 

“Ok Samual I need a favour… get out of the car and accidentally start talking to the three of them… I need you to lead them towards Freddie’s… tell them he will serve them alcohol despite their age. do whatever it takes but I need them in there! Once they are in, and Freddie starts talking, you can get out of there.” I instruct, as his end goes quiet 

“Ok perfect, call Freddle and let him know to expect us…. they are going into the convenience store right now so let me get out quick!” Samual states, as 1 thank him briefly and end the call.. 

This needs to work….. 

“Better call Freddie and update him… Del states next as I dial up the number. 

“Freddie, it’s Alex,” I say as he answers the call. “We’ve got an update. Tommy, Jason, and Holden are in town, and they re close to your har.” 

Freddie’s voice carries a mix of concern and confidence. “I’ve been expecting this. We’ll handle it, Alex. Just tell me the plan?” He concludes, As I listen to the bustle of the busy bar in the background as he speaks. 

I quickly fill him in on the details, explaining how we intend to entice the three abusers into the bar under the pretense of serving them alcohol despite their underage status… 

Once they’re inside, Freddie will approach them and make the deal: Lottie in exchange for their participation in an upcoming street fight. 

If they win, they win Lottie. Simple as that… although they won’t fucking win – there’s no chance in hell! 

I have 

my guys come in to the bar as customers too… if anything starts they will be there for backup…” I add, offering him protection on top of that.

Chapter 58 

Freddie remains silent for a moment, contemplating the gravity of the situation. 

Finally, he responds with unwavering resolve. “I’ll make sure everything is set up on my end. We’ll give those scumbags a taste of their own medicine.” 

I express my gratitude for his cooperation and assure him that we’ll be in touch soon to finalize the arrangements. 

Hanging up the call, I feel a mixture of relief and anticipation. This risky plan is our best shot at dealing with Tommy, Jason, and Holden once and for all… they’ve been here a couple of days already, and haven’t even sighted my doll… they will be growing frustrated. 

Taking a deep breath, we head back to rejoin the others, putting on a facade of normality again. 

Aunt Rinna’s warm and welcoming home provides a temporary escape from the impending confrontation. We focus on making Anna’s birthday as joyful as possible, savouring the moments of laughter as we all sit down to enjoy her homemade chicken curry dish. 

Lottie’s safety is highly at stake, and we won’t rest until justice is served. After dinner, we’ll reconvene, finalize the plan, and make our next hoping everything plays out well on their end… 

I move 

Tommy, Jason, and Holden may have come into town looking for Lottie, but little do they know that they’ve walked right into the lion’s den. We’ll protect our own, no matter the cost. 

“Alex are you ok?” Lottie’s soft whisper meets my ear as I eat into the dinner–everyone laughing and sharing stories around us.

fine doll… are you having a good time?” I question, raising a brow as she nods almost instantly. 

Her hair sat in bouncy curls, her makeup was natural and glowing and her outfit consisted of a baby pink satin midi skirt, stopping just below the knee- complete with a white crop top and the sneakers I had bought her. 

Anna of course, matching with the sneakers, however she chose to wear a light pink dress instead. 

“We took some pictures in front of the balloons… it’s a shame I can’t post them anywhere! Lottie sighs, as I think on it briefly. 

“Maybe you can post them doll… your account is private now remember… all they can do is message you and they haven’t sent anything else over either.” I reason with her, knowing she was enjoying the whole new online presence she had dipped into back at the festival. 

ig into my jeans to retrieve it. 

“Really? Do you have my phone with you?” Lottie grows excited, as I nod and dig 

“Anna? Could you send the pictures we took over to my phone? I’m going to post some of them!” Lottie asks Anna next as she smiles and nods–tapping on her phone brielly. 

I check the app one last time, making sure there were no new messages, before an airdrop request pops up with the pictures – as I accept it. 

“Here doll… do not click on the messages though do you understand?” I warn, as she nods and takes the phone from my hand – her eyes seeming to light up. 

lex? Why is there three hundred plus follow requests? Lottie gasps, as I laugh at her. 

“I’ll go through them and accept the people from school…just post the photos first.” I chuckle, as she nods and begins to look through the pictures. 

I watch over her shoulder as she clicks four in total

The first is of her and Anna, as they hold hands, smile and pose with their other hand in the air. The second is of them both hugging and smiling and the last two are of Lottie herself posing in–front of the balloons. 

Their outfits match in colour, along with the pink and gold extravagant balloon display that Rinna had organised. 

She types Happy Birthday My Best–friend‘ before tagging Lottie hitting upload. D 

She smiles in success, now having her second post uploaded to her feed before she hands me back the phone and I begin to swipe through the masses of requests… accepting the ones I recognise. 

“Now I just need to upload one with your Lottie giggles, as I smirk over at her 

Chapter 58 

I’ll put that on my to–do–list and everyone online will know that she’s mine….
