Chapter 77 

Alex‘ POV 

She was a fool to think that I just stayed out here, waiting for her to come back from Miami… 

I had eyes on her the second they stepped foot off that plane. 

Sure she had pissed me off and I wanted nothing more than to fly over there myself to teach her a thing or two about respect… 

In the bedroom of course… 

But I decided to let her have her small taste of victory – at least this time. 

She’s gotten it out of her system now and they think they’ve won… but I know the truth. She can’t go anywhere or do anything without my watch. 

“I have something to show you.” I tell her, as she yawns and nods – perking up in her seat. 

She glances out of the window, before I turn down onto the street towards the home that we had been renovating for ourselves. 

At the age of nineteen, now having left school and started my own business, this was a true pinch me moment. 

This was a home that I had built from scratch myself, with my own hard earned cash! This was all mine! All ours! 

“Our home!” Lottie chirps, as I pull up to the bricked driveway, enjoying the gardening work that had recently been finished this week. 

“Oh my God Alex! You even had the flowers I liked planted? I love it!” She gawks, before I park up and she wastes no time before rushing out. 

“When can we move in? Is it almost done?” Lottie questions, as I exit the car and laugh at her excitement. 

I take her small hand in mine, before leading her up towards the large white front door – putting the key in and unlocking it. 

“That’s the surprise doll… we’ve officially moved in! I had it finished this week… we just have the backyard and the pool to complete.” I inform her, switching on the light to illuminate the fully decorated interior. 

I hadn’t brought her here for weeks, having wanted the whole experience to be a surprise. 

“It’s so beautiful! I can’t believe this is where we will live! It’s huge Alex!” Lottie touches each ornament and photo that lines the entry way, as I chuckle and hang up my jacket by the door. 

“Seriously this is so good! You’ve done amazing!” Lottie turns to me, excitement filling her eyes, before she leans up to kiss my lips gently. 

“It’s all yours doll.” I grin, as she wraps her arms around me in a tight hug. 

She won’t be running off to Miami again after this surprise I can guarantee that! 

“Show me around!” Lottie pulls back, as I nod and lead her up the hallway towards the bottom spare bedroom first.

“This is our first spare room.” I open the door, revealing the freshly decorated white wash room with it’s baby blue interior and comfy double bed. 

“This door here is the downstairs bathroom too.” I show her the next room with the dark marble accents contrasting with the white. 

She gasps at each and every detail, seeming happy with my choices… which made me feel accomplished already. 

“Over here is the living area… I reckon you’ll like it.” I begin, before Lottie rushes in and dives onto the eight seater sofa stretching around the large space. 

This room was one of my favourites, with its built in wall fire stretching below the large wall mounted TV. The room was cream, grey and black which added to the cosy feel – topped with a white chandelier in the centre. 

“Alex this is like a dream… I don’t know what to say!” Lottie stares around at it all near speechless, as I grin and adore my own bandu. 

Chapter 77 

turning on the fire to show her each and every detail of the room. 

“Come on doll there’s more!” I motion with my hand, as she stands from the sofa and follows me back out of the room towards the open plan dining room and kitchen. 

The kitchen/dining room was tiled black – matching the countertops and dining chairs. The table itself was gold along with the other details throughout the kitchen – gold amenities, gold handles, and of course gold dangling ceiling lights. 

*Beautiful!” Lottie moves around the space, opening cabinets and drawers curiously to find brand new mugs and cups. 

“I can’t wait to have people over!” She claps, as I chuckle at the idea. 

“Better at least wait til the gardens done – it’s killing the whole vibe.” I lead her towards the patio doors as she looks outside towards the current building site that was supposed to be our backyard…..

She laughs, shaking her head, before I take her hand and lead her back down the hall towards the staircase. The stairs were white and pine wood, as we climbed them passing the mirrored wall on the way up. 

I lead her to the first door which I had converted into an office for myself, pushing open the door to reveal the space. 

It was painted and decorated based on emerald green and dark oak details. Giving it the expensive feel that it deserves. 

“This suits you.” She giggles, as I smirk in pride at the darker room. 

I then show Lottie the first upstairs spare bedroom – decorated white and black – with a double bed and an en–suite inside. 

The spare rooms were left til last and I figured it would be best to have somewhere we could fit the likes of Jace and Del in after a wild night of drinking… which there will no doubt be many of! 

I then show Lottie the third spare bedroom next door – painted light pink with a small double bed and en–suite inside too. No doubt this would quickly become Anna’s room when she stays over… 

W next over 

“These are great Alex! There’s room for everyone to stay over whenever they want!” Lottie smiles at the thought, as if reading my mind. 

“Ready to see our room then doll?” I smirk in excitement, knowing this was by far going to be the best surprise yet… 

“Of course I am!” Lottie states, as I cover her eyes with my large hands and lead her towards the end of the hallway… 

I open the door with my elbow, before pushing it open with my foot. 

I count down from three, having her squirm below me in anticipation, before removing my hands – causing Lottie to gasp and slap her hands over her mouth. 

The room was light grey, white, and silver with large floor length windows and doors leading out to a balcony which overlooked the backyard… 

The bed was enormous… the biggest I could get to fit the space without it getting in the way…. 

We had a large white faux fur rug placed under it for added effect too, taking up a large chunk of the room, as I admire my handy work and watch as Lottie moves over to run her hand along the soft sheets… 

There was a tall full length silver mirror, leaning against the far wall – grabbing Lottie’s attention next, as she moves towards it and admires it’s size. 

She then moves along to open up the first door, leading her to the bathroom… 

The bathroom held a double sink, a bath and a walk in shower – all grey, silver and white to match the room. 

“Alex I cannot believe all of this!” Lottie turns to me, as I nod in admiration that this was all well and truly ours. 

“There’s more…” I tease, as her brows furrow. 

“More?” Lottie shakes her head in disbelief as I laugh.

Chapter 77 

“This door here…” I motion to the one in the far corner, as she eyes me curiously before approaching it. 

I watch as she pulls the handle back – stepping inside – as the automatic lights flicker to life revealing her very own walk in closet and dressing room. 

The closet was now a decent size, as I had decided to convert the last bedroom next door to join our room instead. 

The window from the previous room (now our closet) sat a large, fully stocked, makeup table in–front of it. 

Funnily, I hadn’t left much room for myself in here, having only used a corner of the structured shelving space after filling the rest with Lottie’s new 

items… 

I therefore decided to use the smaller storage closet in my office for the rest of my stuff which worked out fine for me. 

“Alex is this stuff all… mine?” Lottie’s eyes well up now, noticing the new sneakers, heels, bags and makeup products I had ordered. 

“It sure is doll – you deserve this.” I approach her, as she smiles brightly and allows me to embrace her. 

“I love you Alex – I’m sorry about Miami…” She mumbles into my chest, earning a laugh. 

I thought she might say that…
