"So you two would just make out and that's it? It never led to anything else?" She wiggled her eyebrows. This is kind of embarrassing to be talking to her about especially as Kelly is Noah's sister!

"No Kelly nothing else,"

"I don't understand you two, the chemistry is obviously there but both of you are just in denial and far too headstrong."

"What does that even mean?" I sigh.

"It means that the way Noah looks at you is like you are the only person in the room, his eyes are fixed on you. He can be talking to someone else but he will never lose sight of you and when he does I can see the state of panic he goes into. He really loves you, do you know that?"

My heart skipped a beat. If all of those things are true I have been a fool. We said I love you to one another on the day he forced me to leave. Saying those 3 words meant everything to me, it's the first time I have said it and meant it.

Years ago I would say it to Brad and not mean a single word. If I could have at least one day without being slapped or hit by saying three empty words then I would but after a while that wasn't enough. He still wanted more, more that I wouldn't give him or any man until I knew that they were the right person. I wonder if Noah is that person for me but I guess I'll never know since I've already made my decision.

"Earth to Sophia..." Kelly interrupted my thoughts.

"Hmm?"

"I said what are you going to do?"

"About what?"

"Oh my God seriously, I'm talking about you and Noah,"

"That's actually something I wanted to talk to you about. I'm going home tomorrow," I started to pick at my fingernails, a habit I have picked up recently showing my discomfort.
