“You” 

Kamryn hesitated, crossing her a 

Farms. Then she said, “Fine, let’s drop it and move on to another question.” 

“But first, answer my question. Charlie said, leaning in closer to her. 

“Do you have feelings for me?” 

The question caught her completely off–guard, and she didn’t know how to reply. 

She thought, Have feelings for him” Of course I do! How could I not have feelings for such an awesome, dazzling guy? He’s so sweet and caring, treating me like I’m his world. And he always has my back when things get tough. How could I not have feelings for him? Unless I was heartless,

She was torn between two voices in her head, one sounding like a sweet angel and the other like a sassy devil

The air was thick with silence. 

Charlie stared 

at her in shock. Her face turned as red as a tornato. She ducked her head, biting her lip, clearly feeling shy but acting cool.

Kamryn’s lip twitched badly, and she suddenly felt an inexplicable pang of worry for Eugene 

At the hotel, Greta brought Eugene to her side. She put a ton of food on his plate, but he ignored it. He didn’t eat anything, not even picking up his Tork. 

“Eugene, if you want to eat something, tell me, I will help you” Greta coaxed him while gently stroking his head.
