Chapter 140 

In silence, Kamryn looked out of the window at the street scenery that was flashing by. Her heart felt being pricked, 

She thought, ‘Do I need an explanation? 

“No, what I want is for you to believe me unconditionally. 

“If you said the same thing to me, I would believe you no matter what. 

“That’s because I love you, so I’m willing to believe what you say, even if it may be a lie.

“I know Nyasia is your sister and you couldn’t believe it emotionally speaking, but your rationality is too hurtful. 

Charlie didn’t know that his reason turned to an invisible blade,

He looked at Eugene with a cool gaze and said, “What are you doing?

Charlie pursed his thin lips tightly and stopped talking. He suddenly stepped up the speed of the car. 

They soon arrived at the restaurant.

Kamryn sat in the car for a while before getting out with Eugene in her arms. 

In the restaurant, a waiter brought two menus. Kamryn looked through it several times but still had no appetite for anything. She put the menu

Kamryn was silent. 

She lowered her head and said nothing. 

Charlie didn’t say anything else either. He ordered a few dishes and didn’t force her to do anything 

Neither Charlie nor Kamryn spoke, so was Eugene. When the dishes were served, Charlie filled her plate and told her. “Eat more for lunch,

As she spoke, she took out the medicine bottle from her bag and handed it to him. “Go if you insist. My lunch break is over and I have to go back to work. I don’t have much time to waste on other things.”
