Charlie asked in a soft voice. “Then when will you be willing to be my lawful wife?” 

Kamryn pretended to think hard as if she was unwilling to say yes so easily. 

She bit her lip and suddenly thought of something. She said half–seriously and half–jokingly, “Of course I will, but under a condition. 

Charlie could guess that she would come up with another idea to make things difficult for him, but he still asked, “What’s the condition?” 

Kamryn put her hands behind her back and thought for a long while. Suddenly, she looked up at the sky. At the sight of the twinkling stars, she had an idea. 

She turned around, looked into his eyes, and said like a spoiled child with a pout, “Give me the stars in the sky, and I’ll agree any of your requests.” 

In truth, Charlie had already seen through her intentions at a glance. 

However, he pretended to be ignorant and only nodded gently before he smiled lovingly and said, “Sure.” 

“Did you agree?” 

It was to her surprise that he had replied to her with a “sure“. 

She had just intended to make things difficult for him on purpose, but she couldn’t believe he had immediately agreed.

On the top of the hill, there was a large viewing area which was sealed with railings. It was said that one could have a glimpse of the best scenery by looking down the hill there. 

Kamryn felt helpless. “Did you bring me here just to watch the stars?” 

Charlie said disapprovingly, “What’s the fun of watching the stars like this?” 

He took her hand and led her to the back of the building. 

Just as Kamryn was wondering what on earth he was going to do, she saw a glow of flames in the distance as they approached the back. 

It was not until she walked over that she found that there was a huge hot air balloon parked in the empty area in the back. 

Kamryn was completely stupefied at the sight of the hot air balloon. If she was 100% surprised when they were on the Dove Bridge before, then she would admit that she was 200% surprised at the appearance of this hot air balloon!
