Charlie laughed and suddenly said, “Give yourself ten minutes to blow–dry that hair.”

Kamryn widened her eyes, asking. “Why” 

Charlie stubbed out his cigarette, took a deep breath, and slowly stood up. He strolled over, grabbed her hand, and gave her fingertips a light kiss.

She threw for a loop for a second, then a smirk creeped onto her face. “Sure thing” 

Charlie drove to the destination and arrived thirty minutes later. After parking, Kamryn hopped out, looked up, and started. breaking a sweat

They couldn’t clock out until the guests left.

Inside, Nicole heard the footsteps and jumped up, thinking, ‘Charlie’s here! So soon!” 

She had almost given up hope of him showing up tonight. 

But to her surprise, he came. 

She believed he must still have feelings for her, or he wouldn’t show up. 

If that was the case, then everything would be a cakewalk! 

She knew him inside and out. He was always a sentimental guy. Even though she had pissed him off a lot in the past, they still had a strong bond. Plus, she was carrying his kid, so he was bound to step up.
