Chapter 277
Wilson was Zackery’s eldest son, and Zackery had high hopes for him. Wilson was used to accepting compliments and naturally grew too confident.
He had always felt that he was no worse than anyone else! In his eyes, Charlie just had a more favorable family background, who was not much better than him!
Wilson even felt that if he had been born into the Franco family like Charlie, he would have been able to do much better!
But now
Zackery, his own father, who had always valued him, said contemptuously that he was no match for Charlie at all in terms of ability, identity, and connections!
It was the first time in Wilson’s life that he had been belittled like this!
Wilson was inwardly furious. He clenched his fists tightly, his face turning livid with humiliation.
However, Wilson did not dare to refute his father, who had a commanding presence in the Duarte family. He snorted angrily, turned to go upstairs, and banged the door!
It was also the first time for Zackery to be embarrassed by his son. He was stunned at first and then felt a sudden surge of anger, slamming the table and yelling, “Bastard! Does he still care about me? He and his sister are both like this. I can’t even scold them! I think they just want to irritate me to death!”
Rose watched as Zackery and Wilson argued with each other. She was frightened and hurriedly explained, “Wilson is still young! He’s worried about his sister and said something wrong. Don’t take it to heart!”
Zackery glared at her fiercely. “He’s already in his twenties and isn’t a child! Charlie is younger than him but much wiser than me! What about him? He only knows how to show off at home. What a good–for–nothing!”
Wilson stood in his room on the second floor and heard Zackery’s scolding clearly.
Hearing that Zackery considered him useless, Wilson was filled with anger but had nowhere to vent it.
He clenched his fists and suddenly slammed them against the wall. His bones hit the wall, making a dull sound.
A few bangs were heard!
Wilson punched several times in a row as if he didn’t feel the pain. Only when his hands were badly hurt did he feel a little better.
“Charlie Franco!”
Wilson said the name through his teeth, his eyes red with resentment.
He thought. It’s all his fault! That damned bastard!
If it weren’t for him, Dad wouldn’t have belittled me in such a contemptuous a sorry state!
I’m not resigned to it!
hate you, Charlie?
tone, and our family wouldn’t have been in such
Wilson wouldn’t let it go, anyway. He was determined to teach Charlie a lesson!
The Duarte family was not a pushover. Wilson thought even if his father was afraid of Charlie, he was not!
He swore to get back at Charlie. Otherwise, he would consider himself a loser!
Thinking of this Wilson narrowed his eyes viciously in anger, which were full of hostility!

Chapter 277
The south street was ablaze with neon lights.
In a private club called Pleasure Point.
It was one of the top clubs on the south street in Dirke, a well–known 17–floor playground of the rich. Equipped with high–en facilities like dancing pools, karaoke bars, gambling venues, hotels, and swimming pools, it charged its standard members more than a billion dollars a year. Even most of the newly rich were not qualified to enter the club, let alone ordinary people.
The club was a place exclusive to the rich. At night, some high–ranking officials and guys from rich and powerful families would gather there and indulge in ecstasy.
Wilson was also one of them.
As the eldest son of the Duarte family, he was qualified to be a gold member of Pleasure Point. The annual membership fee o nearly 5 million dollars was enough for him to enjoy top–notch services at any time, like having any woman serve him.
But now, Wilson was not in the mood to enjoy it. He sat in his private room, with a table full of wine in front of him, and drank one glass after another,
The liquor was poured down his throat and made his chest on fire.
The more he drank, the angrier Wilson became!
At the thought that Zackery was too weak to deal with Charlie and even gave him a piece of valuable land for his silence, Wilson was furious and smashed a bottle to the ground.
A loud sound rang out,
The bottle broke into pieces, and the strong smell of wine filled the air.
At that moment, the door of the room was pushed open.
“Well, what’s wrong with Mr. Duarte today? You’re so angry
