“What?!” 

Kamryn was shocked briefly before she understood his meaning. Her clear, bright eyes widened, much like an angry kitten, reflecting the anger and nervousness she felt. 

“Who is it? Who has the guts to do this to you?!” 

Charlie was taken aback by her intense reaction. 

When he came to his senses, a hint of affection and fondness shone in his eyes. 

He comforted her, saying, “Don’t be nervous. It’s not a big deal.” 

His casual remark angered Kamryn. 

Raising an eyebrow, she turned around and glared at him fiercely. “What did you say? It’s not a big deal? Someone wants to hurt you!” 

“Sorry, I shouldn’t have said that.” 

Charlie immediately yielded when he saw her menacing expression and said, “This is a truly grave issue. I will handle it with 

caution. 

Business rivals often plot against each other and may resort to murder, whether openly or covertly, for financial gain and influence. 

Charlie had experienced similar situations many times before, so he didn’t take Tillman’s words seriously at all. 

But Kamryn was different. She had never been exposed to the sinister aspect of the business realm. Furthermore, her fluster and anger stemmed from her concern for him, and it made sense.

“Be careful,” said Kamryn, her voice softening-
