“Then let’s go to the vet after dinner?”

Kamryn rolled her eyes and revealed a slightly disappointed and sad expression. 

She spread out her hands and said, “Okay, then stay at home, watching over Eugene. I’ll go by myself”

Charle frowned and strode to the balcony. 

Kamryn was worried and hurried over too.

She acted sad and said, “Honey, you haven’t spoken to me in a while. I’m really bummed. Eugene, do you not want me to be your mom anymore?” 

The little boy moved again. His eyelashes fluttered, and he slowly turned around. 

Kamryn squatted in front of him, raised her pitiful face, and said sadly, “Do you really not want me to be your mommy anymore?” 

Nicole was silent. 

Unable to resist her sad face, the little boy finally said, “I want you!” 

“That’s a relief!” said Kamryn with a beaming smile. 

Then she asked, “Do you also like this dog very much? So you came to see it?” 

Eugene nodded slightly.

After dinner, the family of three changed their clothes. Kamryn helped Eugene put on gloves and a mask. Then they drove to the vet with the little puppy. 

It was late already. When they rushed there, the vet was about to leave. Seeing Kamryn coming in holding Eugene’s hand without any pets, he asked curiously, “What’s the matter, Miss? We’re closed!”
