Standing in front of her, Andrew suddenly smiled sinisterly and narrowed his eyes. In the dim light of the private room, his handsome face looked vicious. 

He walked around the overturned table and slowly approached her. He loomed over her, lowered his head, and said condescendingly, Joy Linetti, you probably don’t know what kind of person I am yet!” 

Joy raised an eyebrow slightly as she looked up at him. Yet, her expression remained indifferent. 

He said slowly, “Tve always been stubborn and overbearing! I’ll do anything to reach my goals! Do you think you can easily defeat me by humiliating me with these harsh words? Ms. Linetti, I think you’re too naive!”

Joy chuckled contemptuously and met his ruthless gaze fearlessly.

She couldn’t help reaching to take her phone from her bag. Unlocking the screen, she found it filled with call records from the same person. 

But none of the calls had been picked up. 

Joy finally stopped coughing and stared at the missed calls. Her fingers trembled as she finally pressed the button. 

“Beep! Beep!” 

The call was made successfully. 

However, before it could ring more than twice, the call was cut off, and her number was blocked.

Joy suddenly laughed bitterly. As she held the phone with its newly rejected outgoing call, her tears couldn’t stop After taking off her masks, even she began to hate herself.
