Chapter 50 

Why would it have to be Charlie of all people?! 

Jenna froze as she watched him carry Kamryn out of the water. She could not utter a coherent sentence. 

Everyone around, including the director, was stunned. 

Of course, they knew who Charlie was, but it was even the first time that the director had seen Charlie in person, let alone others. 

Although the showbiz world was small, it was strictly divided into different levels. 

When Charlie made his debut, no one of this crew had even entered the business yet. 

Many people didn’t recognize Charlie, but not the director. He knew Charlie to be not only the former best actor but also the current head of Glorise Consortium. 

Seeing how intimate he was with Kamryn, and especially his affectionate and sorrowful eyes when he looked down at her, the director sensed that he screwed up. 

But who would have thought that a walk–on actor would be Charlie’s acquaintance? 

It didn’t matter what their relationship was, because simply judging by their interactions, the director knew he had offended someone he shouldn’t have! 

He picked the wrong target! 

If he had known about their connection, he wouldn’t have put Kamryn into the icy water for the world. 

Just then, when Charlie rushed into the set, he saw with his own eyes that several staff members dumped a basket of ice cubes into the pool. 

Alan, who was not familiar with the Media Center, caught up breathlessly. Back then, as soon as they arrived, Charlie pushed open the door and got off, leaving Alan to figure out a way to the parking lot on his own. Therefore, it took Alan some time to get there. 

Therefore, he also felt confused seeing the duo getting out of the water.

Alan tried to take her over but Charlie tightened his grip. Therefore, Alan quickly took off his jacket to cover her.

He was not shouting, but his restrained and calm tone sent even more chills down their spines! 

It was the aura that could only be cultivated in the business world for years! 

The director didn’t dare to make a sound, and Jenna silently looked down too. Apparently, they were trying to stay out of this matter. 

Jenna’s mind was racing as she couldn’t believe Kamryn had anything to do with Charlie at all!

So the man who walked out of the cafe with Kamryn the other day didn’t just look like Charlie? It was Charlie himself!

Then again, if Kamryn really had hooked up with Charlie, then why would she still take up jobs like an extra

Charlie raised his eyebrows and sounded a little displeased. “Anyone speaking?”

After that, he was about to leave with Kamryn in his arms. 

Seeing that Charlie was about to leave. Jenna felt anxious and reluctant. 

Meeting Charlie in person was a chance hard to come by. In another situation, she could have said hello and got herself acquainted with him

Hearing that, Dante smiled apologetically. “Oh, that girl. What about her! She did something to piss you off?”
