Chapter 51 

Jenna glared back. 

The director looked at Dante, and Jenna, and then back at Dante. 

How could he not know their relationship? Now that things had come to this, he just wanted to find someone to vent his anger. He felt ill at ease because once Charlie wanted someone to blame, his career might be ruined. 

He used to be an acting postgraduate; he worked hard, used his connections, and pooled money to climb up the showbiz ladder, all the way to where he was today. 

It would be the end of him if his career just went up in flames because of the episode. 

He had spent the first half of his life directing. 

After his first work, he made some achievements as well as money. He paid his connections and a down payment on a house in Faycaster. Though his monthly mortgage payment was high enough, it wouldn’t be a big deal if the one he was filming could finally hit the big screen.. 

Therefore, if that film got suspended, it wouldn’t just mean a huge loss of income or a waste of effort. The producers and investors alone would drive him to a dead end first. 

The director turned to Jenna, hesitating, so she spoke up. “Actually, Kamryn is my older sister. And a few years ago, she was driven out of the family by my father because of something
