"So why did we have to come here?" Blaze asks looking between Gunner and I, "Because Jax is busy, Shelby's busy fixing your mistakes" I grin looking towards Gunner "And the others besides Ice have no control over my babies" I coo looking down at the fluffy faces staring back up at me, the front door to the shop opens and my favourite vet walks out to greet us "Well look what the cat finally dragged in, only two weeks late" She hums, "I was going-" I begin but she raises her hand to cut me off "You know im just teasing baby, come on in".

We follow her inside to the front counter, I drop the dogs leads and let them sniff around while we talk, "So what's the go today Queenie?" Gunner asks leaning on the counter, "I tell you every damn time to get yo nasty ass shit off my counter, do you really wanna mess with an old black woman? I'll snap you like a mother fucking toothpick, I don't see you cleaning up this damn shop every day and night". Gunner quickly stands up straight and wipes the top of the counter with his hand leaving small black marks from the grease on his hands, "I know you did not just do that shit in front of me" She huffs staring him down.

"I'll clean it, I swear" Gunner mutters trying his best to keep eye contact with Queenie, "I know you will" She smiles before turning to Blaze and I who are trying to hold our laughter in "Let's get your babies looked at". Blaze, the dogs and I follow her into one of the back rooms so she can do an examination to make sure they're as healthy as can be. Blaze and I watch as she does a quick look over before she moves onto the testing portion, "Sooo, heard anything interesting around town?" I ask while she shaves a small spot for blood tests "Nothing around town, but we do have a new worker here. Very quiet and shy, but a beautiful little thing, but fuck me she's hard to understand".

Blaze looks to me as I look to him before I turn back to Queenie, "What do you mean? Does she have a speech impediment?" I ask quickly frowning as Queenie laughs and shakes her head no at me "No honey, she's Australian" She smiles, but I frown even more, why would someone from Australia come alllllll the way over here for a small job as a vet in an even smaller town. "She-" I begin but Queenie cuts me off again, "She ain't suspicious, I think she's been through it and is just looking for a quiet life. And as long as she stays away from you and your rascals she will indeed have a quiet life" She teases.

"Stay away from us? I cant help it if she falls inlove with me and I leave Jax for her taking the MC with me" I joke, Blaze laughs throwing his head back "An MC run by two hot women? Don't mind if I do" He grins rubbing his hands together, I slap him on the back of the head earning a glare from him "First of all, thank you for calling me hot" I wink, "But secondly I see you as a son I never birthed so don't think like that ya nasty, and thirdly if I was going to run the MC with a smoking hot babe I'd have already taken Shelby's hand in marriage".

"But Jax is always so stressed even with everyone elses help and im too stupid and lazy to run something like that" I sigh folding my arms over my chest, "No your'e not" Blaze begins but I shake my head "I am trust me, who knows maybe one day you'll have the presidents badge, I'm not going to make Elijah take on this lifestyle he doesn't want too" I shrug. "While you two were lollygagging, I've decided that they both need to stay in overnight one's got a lump I don't like the feeling of and the other will probably rip your house apart without the other one there" Queenie sighs while taking off her gloves.

I nod my head while trying my hardest to not fanitise about killing everyone if one of my babies die before I turn and look to Blaze "Can you call Jax and let him know", He nods his head and heads out fo the office closing the door behind us, "Now I know inside you're freaking out but these lumps are usually nothing but it doesn't hurt to check just incase" Queenie smiles trying to clam me down but the feeling of wanting to projectile vomit across the fucking room only makes me panic more, "I love you and everything, but If you hurt either of them I'll kill you" I smile back at her, "Same old Harley huh? I get it honey trust me, you say it everything you're here".

The door opens up behind us and a short red head walks in, she reminds me of Shelby slighty but the red in her hair is bright and not natural, her skins whiter almost like snow white's and shes fuckiny tiny. I would have thought on first glace she's a child but she's almost covered head to toe in tattoos, she turns to look at me and I see piecrings as well, this cant be the quiet Australian chick surely. "Harley this is Katelyn, Katelyn this is Harley, Harley Jone's" Queenie explains, but when she says Jone's I see fear fill this young womans eyes instantly, why are you afraid of me already? Are you actually a vet nurse or are you here for us? I extend my hand but she doesn't extend her's she just stares at me like she's seen a ghost.

"You know it's rude to stare, even my men know not to stare for too long" I try to joke to break the ice, she snaps out of her frozen state and slowly extends her hand to mine shaking it with a feather light touch, I apply a little pressure to my handshake and as I do it I see her wince in pain, my eyes dart down to her hand and I see what looks like a nasty bruise that's starting to heal but it's hard to be sure with her tattos covering it.

Gunner bursting through the door almost makes her almost piss her pants, she jumps back snatching her hand out of mine, "Queenie I've finished cleaning" he mumbles under out of breath.Gunner looks to Katelyn who looks even more terrified now, "Who's this?" He asks nodding his head in her direction "A new vet nurse Gunner, she's not much of a talker tho" I reply looking back to her. Queenie looks at the both of us like she could kill us before turning to Katelyn.

"Can you take these two dogs into the back? I'll be there in a second"Queenie asks in a softer tone than usual, I watch closely as Katleyn picks up the dogs leads and scurrys past Gunner and I. "You two are assholes you know that?" Queenie hisses at us while leading us to the front of the shop, "Sorry Queenie, but why would someone travel that amount of distance just to come to this small town for a small job? No offence, It doesn't make sense, it's suspicious".

Blaze comes back in from the front confused about what were talking about, "Who's suspicious?" He asks looking down to me "The new vet nurse, travels 14 hours via plane to start a new life in a small town with a small job" He looks to Queenie before looking back to me and nodding his head "I agree with Harley" He begins, "Don't worry, I'll kill anyone that trys to start anything with the Prez's Old Lady" He announces just loud enough for Katelyn to hear in the back room before winking at Queenie who looks like she's about to shoot us, "I'm telling you, shes innocent".
