Radioactive Runaway novel Chapter 14

Rouges

These were rouges, Getting ready to hurt us and attack... Except they weren't being very quite about it at least not for me.

I quickly nugged Beth and pointed my snout in the direction of where they are, She seemed confused about what was going on, Then I assumed she took a sniff of the air and instantly came alert,That there were rouges about to attack us.

Then out came the bigger one, Growling at us, Trying to intimidate us, It was working on Beth because she started going towards the ground and whimpering, She was gonna give up that easy?

Not me I was gonna put up a fight. so instead of whimpering I growled back, Which both the rouge and Beth looked taken back by it.

Then I knew exactly what there plan was, i seen the smaller rouge from the corner of my eye at my side still a good 10 feet away, But he was getting ready to pounce at me. Of course they didn't know I knew about both of them.

Then the bigger rouge shifted right in front of me, He wasn't like most werewolves he still looked like a scrawny human, He had a slight grey beard and looked tired and hungry.

"I ushally don't do this but... What the hell are you?!" He pretty much screamed at me, Proebely becasue I was emiting blue radioactive waves.

"Come on, Sunshine change so you can tell me your little secret?" He said coming closer to me.

Then I seen the smaller one, Comming right at not me but Beth, Beth didn't even notice. what I assumed it as getting rid of the useless.

But I didn't approve of that because I jumped in mid-air over Beth and onto the smaller rouge, biting his neck and instantly killing him. Then the bigger rouge shifted back and pounced at me, Which caused Beth to pounce on him, But the rouge didn't even look taken back by her and with one small swing she was flying and hit a tree and whimpered in pain.

"I knew you could hear me- before... But how?" He thought to himself "Those hunters, Did you a favor."

"Your strong-" As he huffed for breathe "Stronger than an alpha-" and with that he died right there finishing his sentence with me being stronger than an alpha.

"What was that about?" Beth said "Ow, ow ohhhh" She said as I popped her shoulder back in place.

"I'm not sure, Come on lets head back..Here." I said handing her, her clothes that she was caring in her mouth and grabbing mine as we quickly put our clothes back on.

Once we got back to the pack house Beth stopped me saying one last thing "you are strong" and with that she walked back inside.
