i kept thinking, i am strong but not stronger than an alpha, no i couldn't sure beth was the beta female and i was stronger than her but I'm the alpha female, that's gotta be why i'm so strong.. nothng else.

"colten?" i asked him as he looked up from his office desk reading papers.

"hm?"

"have you found anything about the hunters yet?"

"well not really... but we do believe they want you."

"what?" i started panicking he couldn't know my secret. were people watching us the other day?! oh, i knew it wasn't safe out there.

"because they had you before, Jake told us." so he didn't know, he only knew that i was held by hunters.

"oh. yeah."

"it's okay your safe now." colten said getting up from his desk and picking me up and sitting me down on his lap. "i won't let anything happen to you." he said as he leaned in to kiss me.

"colten?" i said stopping him from kissing me and opening his eyes. "tell me more about yourself?"

"only if you tell me more about you to?" i nodded my head. "and i also get a kiss at the end?" i blushed but still nodded.

"okay.. well i am alpha of blue moon pack, i am an only child, and i love hockey.. which reminds me you were at my game a few nights ago?"

"oh yeah, i didn't know you were there."

"Adam knew you were gonna be there, i wasn't gonna go until he told me."

"Adam? oh shit, Beth told Adam.. he SET ME UP!" i screamed as colten started laughing at me.

"you still got away though." he said after he was finished laughing.

"barely." i sighed

"okay back to me, uh i have a very beautiful mate named Ellie, my parents are rob, and Jennifer. my favorite color is blue and i love sports." and finished his sentence with a goofy smile. "okay your turn."

"i have 1 brother, named Jake that you already know of, i love hockey my favorite color is yellow, i love fruit loops and my parents names were sally and Micheal... and they are ba*tards,"

"Ellie?" colten said getting full serious. "i know you don't like them because they gave you up, but trust me they loved you, when they joined my pack.. they weren't here for long, because they died but they were searching for you, they wanted you back, they made the wrong decision on letting you go."

"how did they die?"

colten was silent for a moment before speaking up again. "Jake killed them."

Jake killed them?! well that's unexpected i wanted to know why and how but i couldn't i was to busy bawling my eyes out, with all these mixed emotions i had, i didn't know if i should love them or hate them, why Jake would kill our own parents... i was just so confused.

"it's okay, you have a right to hate me."

"i don't hate you."

after that, me and Jake finished watching adventure time, ate fruit loops, and even failed at making cookies.

"how did It get on the roof?" i screamed after we had a failed attempt at making cookies.

"i don't know." he answered flatly.

"how is there none on you?"

"i don't know."

"is there any on you?"

"i don't k-" and he couldn't finish his sentence, because i was to busy throwing the left over batter all over him. "oh that's it." he said grabbing another bowl and throwing it on me.

right when i threw the biggest bowl at him, he side stepped and it hit colten square in the face. where the heck did he come from?

"i-- i'm so so- sorry." i said imbetween laughs
