Ha! Serves you right!

Realizing I was still in my blanket I quickly started to run, Only to be stopped by another wolf jumping on me, He was huge compared to me, He was pitch black just like me, And his eyes were beautiful green eyes, filled with... Want.

The only thing covering my body from seeing me stark naked was the small blanket that was slowly falling off. Well, this is awkward I thought...

'Mate, Mate, Mate!' My Wolf cried out!

Mate?! No this can't be my mate, not now not ever, He probably thinks that I'm with the hunters; I'm a sorry excuse for a mate, beaten, broken, and ugly. He deserves better.

"Let. Go.." I slowly said, with as much authority and power as I could muster. He slowly lifted himself up, only to attack down again by a hunter; the hunter stabbed him in the waist well he cried out in pain looking at me dead in the eye.

I've always been terrified of meeting my mate and now here he is, I was just lying there watching him cry out in pain and everyone's heads snap towards him, showing that obviously, he was the most important of the pack, the alpha.

I quickly got up and ran, ran for dear life not turning back. No I wouldn't even though my wolf was crying out for him I couldn't I couldn't go to him, And it was my fault he was hurt, I'm such a coward.

Once I was out of eye distance I quickly shifted into my wolf running as far away from the hunters, The werewolves, And my mate as possible.

***********

I entered the outskirts of a small town, the roads were dirt instead of paved, there were trees instead of skyscrapers and there were happy people instead of hunters.

I already loved this place just because I was away from the hunters.

Then realizing I couldn't shift because I would be stark naked and I couldn't stay in wolf form because I emit radioactive waves, I finally decided to lay down beside a creek just a little ways away from the highway, the water was crystal clear with toad croaking as the mud slipped between my toes, The mud felt good because of how cold it was, It was almost soothing.

I shifted back to my human and just sat there taking in all that happened I never thought I would actually get out of there, sure I hoped but I didn't think it would be all because of my mate and a war between his pack and the hunters.

The bushes leave moving snapped me out of my thoughts and straight to s girl with bleach blonde hair, pink full lips, gray eyes, and she was about 5'6, but either way, she was gorgeous.

"I thought I smelt a wolf down here." Southern accent laced in her cheery voice.

_______-2 week's later________________

Well Beth was right me and Beth were pretty tight now, even though we only knew each other for two weeks I think we just kind of clicked, I've been living with Beth in her country home on no man's land which meant no pack owned the land, Even though she did belong to a pack she said she enjoyed the country lots more and she's met her mate, he is the current beta, Adam of blue moon pack. Everything has been great with me and Beth she hasn't really asked about my past but she knew it wasn't good, and I somehow managed to keep my radioactive wolf away from her.

"I'm home!"

"Okay, good did you get me the-you know," I said feeling awkward that I was on my period.

"yes ma'am," she said handing to me like it was no big deal, then there was me taking it like it was a drug deal and hiding it under my shirt. After finishing with that business she called me over to talk to her.

"Yes?"

"I was wondering if you would come to a pack meeting with me. It will be fun after we all have dinner together and just socialize."
