Radioactive Runaway novel Chapter 25

"What are you doing up so late?" I said as my voice cracked from the crying.

"I should be asking you the same thing, But if you must know i was patrolling."

"oh."

"why are you so up late?" He asked actually curious.

"Bad dream." i said not making a big deal out of it.

"Well it must of been one heck of a dream if you were crying." He said holding up my chin and noticing my puffy eyes and tear stained cheek. "Wanna talk about it?"

"Not really.." I said pulling my chin away and grabbing the empty milk carton for the recycling.

"Come on?" he pushed me.

"fine.." I explained to him how I've been having bad dreams about Colten dieing, and how i came interfaced with a witch and how Marty is still alive. and let me tell you his face was priceless.

"I didn't know you were going through so much." He sighed.

"Yeah well how the pack member's are treating me is just the icing on the cake." i murmured to myself not really wanting him to hear it.

"wha- what are they doing Ellie?" He said seriously.

"Nothing."

"There treating you bad, arne't they?"

"maybe." i sighed in defeat.

"we'll talk about this later, Right now I'm tired."He said as he started walking away from me, but i panicked and quickly grabbed his forearm not wanting to be alone. "Hmmm?"

"Please Don't leave me."

And with that Jake understood and the whole night consisted of Disney movies and popcorn...

"Alright lay her on her back." he commanded as he slowly turned me over. "Do you know if this has happened before?" The doctor asked Jake. Jake looked around and shrugged scared as i managed to get out a nod. "Alright Ellie, If this has happened before just do what you did before to get it to go away."

I did what i did before, before i remembered all the good times i had when i was little, although it rarely worked because i had more bad then good time, i thought about Colten and Jake, How me and jake fell asleep watching The little mermaid. After a few minutes it finally stopped and i laid there gasping for air as Jake finally made a move and grabbed me in his arms and hugged me tightly.

"I thought i killed you, Ellie." Jake cried out. "I just got you back, I can't loose you again."

"You can't get rid of me that fast." i chuckled into Jake's ear.

"Alright Ellie, it looks like this was caused by stress, Which i don't blame you but i advise you to get rid of any extra stress you have." The doctor said calmly.

"Oh we will." Jake said answering my question for me.

"And how do you suppose that?" I said turning to Jake with a confused look.

How do you suppose I can get rid of my stress.
