Radioactive Runaway novel Chapter 26

"So what's first on our list?" I asked Jake as i came down stairs from my morning shower, My hair was still wet in a messy bun, i had one of Colten's sweaters on and black leggings, To finish the look i wore my brown leather combat boots.

"First, We are gonna go to Cotlen's office were Alpha Smith is waiting." He spoke not looking up from his notes.

"why-"

"No questions, Just trust me?" He spoke softly as he looked up into my eyes, Bending down a bit so he could actually look me straight in the eyes.

"Okay." I whispered hopelessly as i stared at the ground avoiding his stares.

"Okay." And with that he took my hand and led me down the hall, one hand in mine, well the other on his notebook.

Once we stepped into the office Alpha Smith, Or as he want's me to call him Blake, Was sitting on one of the leather couches looking at a map that was on the Small table in front of him, Around him were a few gaurds and what I'm guessing is his beta. After a few seconds after i stepped in Adam opened the door and came in, At first I questioned why but then remembered he's Colten's beta.

"I will here to help Ellie through this since Colten is unavailable." Jake announced as the rest nodded there heads in agreement.

Just the mention of Colten's name brang tears into my eyes threatening to come out.

"Alright so we have marked off where i found Ellie and where she came running f-"

"Excuse me?" i asked politely having no idea what there taking about.

"Alpha Ellie, My name is Dylan I'm the beta of moon rising pack and Alpha Smith is my Alpha." A tall blonde said after i rudely interrupted him from talking before, Dylan was what looked like a Strong and muscular beta, his hair was cut into a buzz cut at the top of his head that gave perfect view of his stormy grey eyes. "We were just disusing on how that witch atacked you, And we are trying to pin point where she could be now." He continued.

"Oh."

"Ellie, do you want to tell me what she looked like?" Blake spoke up.

"Which one?"

"There's more than one?!" Dylan questioned surprised.

"She switched forms." I quickly answered.

"Tell us the first." Blake said.

' I don't kn-"

'Listen!'

"Alpha, Why should we trust her, She could just be an attention whore? Or better yet crazy! I've been searching over 3 hours for a single trance of any of them and haven't found a thing." Dylan said to Blake.

"Even if she's not your Alpha you will never speak of her with such lack of respect, again!" Blake said in alpha tone to Dylan.

"Yes Alpha, But just here me out. There's nothing out there and nobody has even see any of those well patrolling."

"I understand what your trying to say, But do you think she would lie to us about something so important?" Blake asked.

"yes."

I didn't even know how i could hear there conversation through the wall, sure I'm a werewolf, But i know for a fact that these are sound proof walls and not a single wolf can hear through them...
