Radioactive Runaway novel Chapter 8

The office was a mess, There was a big desk made of dark wood that went along one half of the room, Covered in papers and a laptop sat on the desk, There were orange couches in the corner with some books, But i was to afraid to sit down. There was a small window across from the couches that a beautiful garden sat outside of his office.

A light knock sent me out of my thoughts and to the door, Were Beth entered.

"The Alpha.. Is out- Come with me." Without saying another word I followed her into the kitchen where Adam and a few other guys stood talking.

"You must be the Alpha's mate." A shorter guy spoke he had light brown hair that curled and his eyes were a light hazel. "I'm Henry ." I nodded well the other guy stood forward shaking my hand.

"I'm liam." He had dark brown hair almost black his eye's were brown and he was tall broad shoulder's, and well built.

"I'm Ellie." I said to liam and Henry.

"We know." They said at the same time " Everybody know's who you are, your also jake's-"

"Shut your trap liam!" Adam yelled at him.

Before I could ask what they mean't a very tall, musular, dark guy bursted through the door his eyes were a light blue, just like mine that periced into my eyes, His skin was cold, And he was very, very well built. He walked right up to me grabbed my arm roughly, His eyes soften a bit when he spoke.

"Ellie?" His voice cracked but it was still very Strong and terrifying.

"Um- Who are you?"

"Ellie." He put his hand on his face then looked back at me. "I can't believe it."

"Uh-"

"It's me- Jake." I was shocked right there stood my brother, No wonder his eyes looked so fimiliar we always had my dad's cold eyes and my hair was brown from my mothers but his hair took after my fathers, one look at our eyes and you knew they were one of a kind. I couldn't believe this was my brother, What was i supposed to do hug him? Cry ? laugh? Well guess what, I did all three.

I held onto him so tight that I was afraid he was gonna disappear into thin air, Crying and laughing at the same time.

"Where's mom and dad?" I asked even though they did give me up and i could care less about them, It just felt like the right thing to ask.

"Colten, I don't know-"

"You have to." He spoke calmly but i could tell he was slowly loosing his temper.

"Colte-"

"Your moving in will me and that's final!" He yelled at me using his alpha tone, Causing me to whimper, Because it scared the hell out of me.

"I'm so-" He said moving closer to me which only scared me more as I ran out of his room and down stairs well I could hear him right behind me, Once I was down stairs I ran straight for jake, Even though its been years I still knew he was still my protective brother from before

Once I got behind Jake, Colten let out a loud growl that made me scared even more but it didn't effect jake at all.

"Uh colten?" Jake said cautiously.

"She won't stay!" He growled loudly that caused the whole house to shake.
