“ I got into a fight , Carlos replied rather wearily .  _ _

“ How old do you think you are ? Are you not afraid that others will  make fun of how the president of a _

quarrel with someone else ? my father- in – law muttered , feeling bad . 

“ There ‘s nothing I can do about it ! _ ” Carlos replied in a displeased way before entering his room . 

I smiled at my father-in-law and told Vitória to bring the suitcase to Carlos ‘ room . 

As I applied antiseptic to Carlos ‘ wounds , I intentionally touched his wounds harder , expecting him to groan in pain . To my surprise , he was quiet the entire time . 

After his wounds were treated , Carlos went to the office alone . _ After I made him a cup of tea and went to the bedroom , when I opened the door , I saw him sitting in a chair , looking at the window . 

It had been five years since we were married , and I had never seen him behave this way before . What was going on ? 

The only plausible explanation was the fight he had with Henriques today . _ _ Was Carlos thinking about how to get revenge ?
