I walked my into the kitchen to see my fiancé,

Tomas cooking, shirtless.

Well, isn't this a treat.

I made my way behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist before kissing his cheek. "Good morning."

Tomas smiled, "mornin'"

"Whatcha cooking?" I asked, putting my head on his shoulder.

"Eggs, bacon, and your personal favorite, blueberry pancakes." He asked before turning the stove off and turning his body around to face me.

He kissed my lips and slipped his hands onto my waist.

Tomas kiss lit a fire in me, burning me inside and out.

I smiled against his lips and Tomas pulled away.

"Well what was that for?" I asked.

"You just being you." He smiled at me.

I can't lose this.

Tomas frowned, "Are you okay? Cameron brought you home last night and you were passed out. Did something happen at the wedding?" He asked, concern transformed his face.

I knew I couldn't tell Tomas about Parker, he's always been self conscious about him. It took me a while before I finally convinced him that I loved him for him and not as a rebound for Parker.

"Nothing," I lied and shrugged. "I just missed you." I smiled at him and let my arms slip from his waist to his neck.

I pulled him close to me and kissed his lips.

As our kiss began to deepen I jumped up and wrapped my legs around Tomas' waist.

He walked backwards, slipping me onto the nearby counter.

Fireworks went off in my body as Tomas' hands slipped onto my thigh, drawing small circles.

His hands touched the end of my nightgown before the door rung.

Tomas pulled his lips from mine and leaned his head against my mine.

"It's your time to answer the door," he smiled at me.

I groaned. "Fine."

I pulled Tomas away from me and jumped off the counter.

He laughs at me. "It was your rule!" He tries to reach me but I back away and stick my tongue at him, causing him to laugh harder.

"Whatever," I waved him off and walked to the front door.

"Whoever is on the other side of the door better have a good reason to be here." I grumble under my breath as I reach towards the door knob and open the door.

I look up and a gasp comes out of my lips.

Standing in front of the door with a bouquet of white roses is Parker.

Oh my god.

Parker shoots me one of his award winning smiles, his eyes shinning.

"Can I come in?" He asks.

I was about to answer him but then Tomas' voice asks inside the house.

"Honey, who's at the door?"

Oh no.

"Just let me-," Parker tries to say but was interrupted by the opening of the front door.

Tomas walked out of the house with his work clothes on.

"Honey? Are you okay? I heard yelling." Tomas said.

His eyes quickly looked me up and down before I sigh of relief left his lips.

"She's fine."

The relief leaves Tomas when he turns and sees who's standing in front of him.

"Parker..." He breathes out, anger steaming off of him like smoke from a fire.

"McCoy."

Oh, no.

This is was not supposed to happen. Tomas was never supposed to see him.

My throat clamped up and I froze, stuck in time to watch the same events, over and over again. Repeatedly.

He glares at Parker, who's face was emotionless and cold.

"What are you doing here, Parker." His eyes narrowed in on him.

"It's none of your business, McCoy." Parker answered. "This is between me and Emmie, okay? So just go back into the house and let me talk to her, then we will all be on our merry way."

"Please, like I'll ever let that happen, Parker." Tomas shakes his head. "You're a fucking liar. I know you want to just steal her from under me, you always will." Tomas' fist clenched.

"Always will?" Parker pauses for a second before his eyebrows furrowed, "who said you'd always have her?"

Tomas' eyes flashed and his jaw ticked. "I swear to God, Parker."

Parker rolled his eyes and that was the last straw for Tomas.
