"Look Emmie, you're not as stealthy as you think you are. We all know that you are breaking, we can all see it. We just want to make sure you're okay." Cameron explains.

I pause, letting her words process through my mind. I took a deep breath. "Okay," I said calmly. "But him? Parker? Why?"

"Everyone's busy, okay. I have to work and my job is VERY demanding. I have to be at a hundred places at one time, we wouldn't have any time to hangout together." She explains and a couple of noises go off in the background. "I couldn't keep watch of you if I was so busy, now could I? And plus, Parker has a free schedule, it would be there when you go and get off of work. He would be able to tell us how you are doing and we wouldn't have to worry."

"Well, doesn't he work? Umm... at a airport or something." I run my hand through my hair, frustrated.

"He runs airports and he can do most of his work on a computer, it's called technology, you know?"

I groan. "Well, what about Colton, can't he watch me?"

"Bitch, weren't you listening to a word I said?! Colton has a life and a job. He can't drop all of that to be at your house 24/7. He has his own bills and car notes to pay. Parker, on the other hand has been living in a hotel for a while, so he can do that." I can't see her but I can feel the eye roll she's giving me right now.

"Please, Cameron, can't we get someone else to stay with me? Anyone! Anything! I'll even take a homeless guy!"

"Scary," she said before pausing. She sighs. "Look Emmie, I'd love to get someone to stay with you but I can't, everyone is either too busy or just can't."

"Well then if no one wants to 'babysit' me then they wouldn't have to, okay? I can take care of myself and having Parker at my house as my 'babysitter' is wrong. I don't need him."

"I know-," she tries to say but I interrupted her.

"I'm a grown ass woman, I can do this myself."

"I know, okay. Trust me. I do. But I'm worried. Everyone is. We want you to be okay and if that means having my selfish, dickwad, asshole, shithea-,"

"Okay, I get." I stop her.

"Sorry, of a brother watch you, then that is what is going to happen."

Ugh...

"Fine!" I give in. "But what am I supposed to do with him until Tomas wakes up?"

"I don't know." She laughs. "Wrap him up. Slap peanut butter on his ass until he give you what you want, I don't care. Just try not to kill him. I only have one brother and as much as I want him dead, I can't have you in jail. You don't have the face for it."

A smile appears on my face.

"Oh, I gotta go. Talk to ya, later." She said quickly.

"Listen to me, asshole." I pointed a finger in his face and suddenly his eyes were on me, wide with shock.

"We are doing this my way. Not yours." I told him, my voice turning hard. "So when I'm speaking to you, you look at me, understand? I WILL NOT HAVE YOU TURNING MY HOME INTO YOURS! You obey my rules, you're in my house now, not yours." And I stalk away.

Instead of Parker leaving and having me shocked and confused. I did and finally the power was in my hands and it felt so good.

Emily Rose

I left from the hair dressers with newly dyed blonde highlights and tips.

My hair was curled around my neck and I couldn't keep the smile off my face.

As I walked down the streets, many people stopped me and told me they liked my hair and asked who my hairdresser was.

Excite shot through me as I made my way towards my door.

I moved my hips to side to side as I began to open the door with my keys and open the door.
