Pain was everywhere.
Is this what it feels like to be beautiful?
Oh my God, my head hurts. I guess Cameron pulled my hair too tightly when she put it into this low bun
Before I left Cameron's room, she put a pound of makeup on my face. I'm certain by tomorrow, I'm gonna break out.
I walked my way towards Parker's room trying my hardest not to fall on my ass.
My feet began to burn and felt crumbled in these heels as I made it closer to his opened door.
Once I made it to his door, I leaned against the door frame.
Hell, I didn't think walking in heels would be this hard. How am I supposed to make it to the party if my feet are dying like this?!
Instantly when I made it to his door, my eyes found Parker.
He was on the phone, talking rapidly. His voice was hushed as if he didn't want people to hear him. He quickly shook his head before aggressively running his hand through his hair.
"No... I-I know that was part of our deal but... I know. Fuck. Trust me, I know..." Parker mutter hurriedly into the phone.
I waited a couple seconds before calling out his name.
"Parker?"
Parker's head turned to me before muttering a curse and hanging up on the phone.
Parker turned his body around towards me, putting his phone in his pocket.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "Parker, what were you talking about on the phone?"
Parker waves off my question with his hand. "Nothing, nothing at all." Parker gave me a once-over before awe transformed his face.
His dark brown eyes had turned into a light-ish brown color, almost hazel.
Parker begins to take steps towards me.
Oh no.
I hug myself and look downwards at the carpet, "I know, I look really awkward don't I?" I tuck a loose lock of hair behind my ear, "You don't have to say anything. I told Cameron I would but she didn't listen. I could go change..."
Right when I was going to turn to leave, Parker grabbed onto my wrist and pulled me to him.
"P-Parker?" I stammered, still looking down, daring not to look into those beautiful eyes of his.
Parker gave me a slow and sexy smile before slipping his hand under my chin and making me look into his eyes.
Once we get to the middle of the dance floor, we start to dance. It's awkward at first, but as the time starts to go by, we get more comfortable with each other.
By the time the next song comes on, we've already lost ourselves in the music. My hips sway side to side as I dance, sweat is building up on top of my head. It's burning hot, but I don't want to stop dancing.
Parker hands cups my hips and shivers cascade down my spine in a waterfall, causing me to quietly gasp.
We were staring each other in the eyes, as I slow wrap my arms around his neck, still moving my hips to the music.
He bites lips.
Intoxicated on adrenaline, I move closer to Parker and he moves closer to me. The tension is so thick, you can almost drown in it. As the music continues, we take small steps closer to each other until our chest touch, I could hear the quick beating of his heart.
That's when I start to notice, Parker's eyes aren't on my eyes anymore, they're on my lips.
Parker's eyes quickly dart to my eyes and back to my lips before he begins to lean in. I place my hand on his cheek to encourage him.
In record time, Parker's lips are on mine.
Parker slips his hand onto the back of my neck, pulling me closer.
His muscles tense as I move my hand from his cheek and onto his shirt, gripping it, feeling the warm material under my fingers.
