5:12 am.
Okay, not too early, not too late.
Just when I thought that, all the memories from late night hit me like a train and my cheeks instantly turned red.
I lost my virginity to Parker, my best friend.
A smile appeared on my face but disappeared as quickly as it came when I felt around the other side of my bed to nothing but coldness.
Parker?
I finally sat up in my bed when I heard shuffling again.
There was a figure sitting at the edge of my bed, its arms reached up and they pulled something over their head.
"Parker?" I asked, grabbing the blanket, pulling it closer to my body.
The figure froze, so I called out again.
"Parker?" I could hear the sleepiness in my voice but I chose to ignore it.
I reached over towards my desk and turned on the small pink lamp that was on top of it.
Once the small light from the lamp came on, I could finally see the figure.
"Parker, what's going on? Why do you have your clothes on?" I ask as I'm about to get out of bed but Parker stops me by pulling me back.
"Lay down, Polar Bear." He muttered as slides up to the headboard and leans against it. He then pulls my body next to him, so we can cuddle.
I shake my head, "I don't understand, Parker. What's going on. Why are you dressed? Are you leaving?" I asked frantically as Parker quietly shushed me and began to run his hands through my hair.
"Shhh, Polar Bear, everything's going to be okay." He soothes me, whispering in my ear.
"But Park-"
"Sshh, Emmie Rose, sshhh."
Before I know it, I began to yawn and tiredness starts to overtake me. "Parker... but... wh-where are you... going?" I being to drift off, my voice getting quieter as my eyes began to close on me.
Just as I'm about to fall asleep, I hear Parker whisper one last thing into my ear.
"I'm sorry, Emily."
And that was the last time I had seen Parker.
That morning, he disappeared.
Leaving me alone and heartbroken; broken into millions of pieces.
After I had picked up all of the mess, I had promised myself that I would live with my life and move on from the love that is Parker Bowmen.
But unfortunately some things don't stay in the past.
They come back to bite you.
Some aim for pain, but Parker...
He aims for pleasure.
Emily Rose
His green eyes sparked as he looked up at the window.
"Girl, you better go down there. If you don't I will." Camara said, breaking me out of my trance. I turned to her and laughed.
Whenever Tomas comes into the wedding shop, Camara always calls him different nicknames, like Hot Account, McCutie or, her personal favorite, MrSteamy.
"I'm going, I'm going." I said before running out of the office.
The wedding planner building was a two story building. The downstairs was a bridal shop, while the upstairs was where the offices and breakroom were.
I ran the stairs and out of the door, running right into Tomas' arms, where he grabbed me and spun me around.
A happy laugh came out of my lips as he put me down on the ground.
His head leaned against mine as he whispered.
"I can't wait to I marry you."
I laughed softly. "Only 6 months left."
Tomas groaned. "Feels like forever."
I wrapped my hands around his neck. "Wait until the wedding then it'll be forever."
He smiled at me and in return, I kissed him.
God, I love this man.
Cameron lived close to the office, so I never had to drive my car there, plus it gave me my daily workout.
