"Whatever Grandmother." I simply stated while watching her pace around the living room.

"I'm serious Ryan! Stop playing these games. I get tired of reading articles about this," She said while scoffing.

"They aren't true." I said.

"I know you boy and you're just like your daddy fooling around with these girls. You're getting married so stop with these games." She preached.

"I don't want to hear this right now!"

"You and this damn mafia that you're apart of isn't a good look either! It is time for you to grow up and be a damn man!"

I slammed my hand on my desk causing her to jump in fear, "You're my grandmother and I appreciate you but I need you to shut the hell up and mind your damn business. I know what I need to do and I know how to handle things. You should find you something to occupy yourself with so you can stay the fuck out of my personal life!"

"Ryan." My Grandmother said as she stared at me in shock, "What happened to you? Where's my grandson?"

"He's here but he demands privacy."

"I just want you to be careful before you end up like your father."

"I will never be like him so don't you even sit there and begin your comparisons."

"You've changed! You're not my grandchild. This is not the Ryan that I took care of!"

"You took care of me when I was 4! If you haven't noticed, I am a grown ass man now."

She stared at me sadly before nodding her head, "I can see that now!"
