The only ones in the villa were Finlay, Scott, the butler, and a few household service bots.

Since this was Scott's private home, there was no way someone could've sneaked in, so the knock on the door had to be from either Finlay or Scott.

Which was why Analise didn't feel the need to be on guard.

"Ana…"

As soon as she opened the door, she was met with the sight of Finlay in his wolf form. He gently nudged her waist and hands with his head.

"What's this about? Acting like a spoiled little pup now?" Analise reached down and scratched behind his ears, letting him nuzzle into her palm.

A soft, pitiful whine escaped him. Finlay didn't speak and just looked up at her with bloodshot eyes full of frustration and something deeper, something more vulnerable.

"What's wrong?" Scott opened his door, drawn by the noise.

"Are you feeling sick?" Analise asked, suddenly realizing something was off. She tried using her calming ability to soothe Finlay's distress. But it didn't seem to be working this time.

"Mm… Ana…" Finlay leaned closer, drawn to the comforting energy she emitted. Then, without warning, he wrapped his tail around her and pulled her against the soft warmth of his belly.

"Finlay! What are you doing? Let go of me!" Analise gasped, startled as she was suddenly yanked down into him. Her voice rose in shock.

But Finlay didn't react much. He simply loosened his tail slightly, making sure not to hurt her.

Scott stood frozen, staring at the sight of Analise curled up against Finlay's chest, wrapped in his tail. Jealousy flared violently in his chest. His eyes were filled with envy.

But this wasn't the time to let emotions run wild. He took a step forward, only to be met with a low warning growl from Finlay. It was his territorial instinct flaring up.

Scott paused, studying Finlay's stance. Then, he finally spoke, his voice calm but firm, "He's probably going into heat."
