When Revenge Becomes Love novel Chapter 5

I went to the bar and ask for a strong drink.

This man was my boss! I cannot accept this. I hate him too much and I cannot work with him. But I'm glad that I will be the secretary of Gabriel and not his.

If I have to become his secretary then I would leave the job. After finishing my drink I went to talk with Jordan a bit.

Suddenly my eyes met his and we continued to stare as if we were challenging each other to break first. He looked back at Gabriel who did not notice anything. He was talking something to him but I could not hear anything but I'm sure that he was talking about me as they were continuously looking at me.

After drinking so much I felt the need to go to the toilet. I stood up and went directly in the loo. I came out and was looking at myself in the mirror when I heard the door closing behind me.

I turned and saw my arrogant boss Jacob standing there. What was he doing in a ladies bathroom? I thought. I turned back to the mirror and ignored him.

Suddenly I felt someone holding my wrist. I turned and saw him.

"Let go of my wrist. You're hurting me."

I was pinned against the wall with both my hands at the top of my head. I look him straight in his eyes and said what. He did not answer me but lean closer. Our face was now close. I was now a little bit scared. Was he going to hurt me? I opened my mouth to say something but just then his mouth crashed into mine.

I stood there like a statue. I did not know what to do! Just then he held my wrists with only one of his hand and the other one was on my thigh slowly going up.

Just then he started to lift my dress and I gasped. As soon as my mouth opened he put his tongue in it and started exploring.

I don't know what took me and I started to kiss him back.

Our lips were now moving in sync. He let go of my hands and put his hands on my waist pulling me closer to him and I wrapped my hands behind his neck deepening the kiss.

Just then I don't know what took him and he stopped. I came back to my senses and realised what I've done. He took a step back and snapped at me:

"What did you just do?"

I was shocked. "You kissed me first" I said.

He turned his head and sigh. He again turned to me. I could not look at him in the eyes.

"I'm sorry." He said.

I lift my head and I was like 'really?'

He continued.

"Just forget about the kiss and I'm sorry once again."

He turned to the door and opened the door and went.

I could feel Jacob's eyes on me. I did not have the courage to look in his eyes. Then Gabriel asked me where was I?

'I was in the bathroom making out with this man over here!' I wanted to tell him but I knew that I couldn't tell him such a thing. But I decided to lie.

"I was near the pool."

I could see Jacob smirking in the corner of my eyes. Gabriel did not tell me anything.

"Gabriel I've got to go! Bye."

"Okay! See you tomorrow."

He pulled me to him and gave me a peck on the cheek.

Now I was blushing.

Then I saw Jacob staring at Gabriel. I could see that he was very angry. I ignored him and went to my car and drove back home.

I got back home and took off all my make-up and my dress and went directly to bed. I could not sleep all night even if I was tired. I was thinking about the kiss. I really like his lips on mine. I could still feel the taste on my lips. Then I remember that this was the same Jacob Max which I hate. I cannot think of him. I cannot fall in love with him. And this can't happen while we work together. I have to leave this job!
