Boy how could I forget? Me Mia Isabella was standing with a towel wrapped around her body in front of Jacob Max!

"Just give me a minute!"

I ran towards my bedroom. I could feel Jacob eyes on me all the way there. I quickly changed in my nightie. I went back downstairs and saw Jacob looking around the house. I wonder what he is thinking!

"So how come you are here?" I said.

He looks at me once again from head to toe. I was starting to feel uncomfortable.

"Can I have some coffee?"

"What? You came here because you want coffee?"

"No" He laughed.

OMG he looks so cute when he is laughing. What is happening to you Mia? I thought to myself.

"I was thinking of discussing something with you over coffee."

"Okay! Wait." I said before going in the kitchen. I went in the kitchen and prepared coffee for both of us.

"Here!"

"Thanks."

"What happened?" I asked him.

"I came here to tell you that you can't quit the job."

"What?"

"Yeah, you cannot." He said drinking his coffee.

"But why?"

"Because when you started to work you signed a contract of one year and now you can't leave because it is not even one year of work."

Stupid me! I forgot about this damn contract.

"And if you do not join back tomorrow then I'll have to sue you for breaking contract."

"Gabriel won't do this to me."

He smirked. "Gabriel cannot say anything in this matter as it's me who takes the final decision. Remember 90% ownership!"

I'm screwed! I thought. I cannot find anyway to get out of this mess.

"After one year you can resign nobody will stop you."

"Okay then! I'll join you tomorrow."

"Well! See you tomorrow Mia!"

"Same to you!" I said to him before he was gone.

I jumped on the couch. This damn contract! I don't have too much money to fight against the company. I'm sure they will win in the end. I guess I will have to go to work tomorrow!

My phone started ringing and I picked it up without looking at the I.D.

"Hello."

"Mia?"

"Grandma, I was just about to call you." I didn't want to break her heart.

"Mia will you come to see me?" she asked me.

"Grandma I'm sorry. I won't be able to make it. It's just that my company has made a loss and another person bought it and now I have to help in explaining everything and so on. I'm sorry."
