In fact, there was even a huge display box in there that showed off a number of limited–edition sports shoes.

Even the office had been turned into a joke ever since Gwen and Igor took over the company’s operations!

Ariana smiled slightly when she saw John’s anxious face. She took the financial report and flipped to the first page, but she was immediately stopped by John.

“Ms. Torrey!”

“What?”

Ariana looked up, pretending to look confused. “Did you forget to tell me something?”

“I… I was just worried that maybe you wouldn’t understand accounts. So, I think I’ll stand next to you and explain things to you if needed.”

John gulped drily. He couldn’t hide the cold sweat dripping down his face as he spoke.

Meanwhile, Miranda couldn’t help chuckling coldly to herself by the side when she saw John like that.
