“Hey, get back here! Call Mr. Gall in front of me!” Brian sounded harsh. 

Emily placed the phone face–up on the table and dialed Christopher’s number while putting the call on speaker. 

Christopher answered in no time. 

Seemingly in a good mood, he humediately chirped, “Ms. Weston, you’re calling me very early today! Any Instructions from you?” 

“Mr. Gail, Mr. Lodge would like to inquire about the news regarding Ms. Torrey.” Emily sounded grim. Christopher explained ingratiatingly, “I’ve dealt with Ms. Torrey. The punishment is appropriate. After all, she had insulted Ms. Granger and hurt a member of the student union. It’s also a directive from Ms. Granger.” 

Brian’s face darkened when he learned that Evelyn was behind the decision.

Emily could tell that her boss was extremely displeased. Hence, she replied to Christopher, “Whose idea was that? Ms. Granger’s?” 

“Wasn’t it?” Christopher paused in confusion. “I followed Ms. Granger’s orders and expelled Ariana. Did I do anything wrong? Or was the punishment too light?” 

“A punishment?” Brian suddenly chuckled. “You’re just a dean, not a policeman. And you’re talking about punishments?” 

“M–Mr. Lodge…” Brian’s voice made Christopher’s hair stand. 

Never had he expected to cross Brian with his decision, especially after he had called Emily yesterday to give them a heads–up. 

He had punished Ariana all because Emily stated that Ms. Granger was not to be bullied. Alas, he had. misconstrued her words and made the wrong move. 

He quickly assured Brian, “Mr. Lodge, don’t worry. I’ll invite Ms. Torrey to school right now and apologize to her. We’ll also guarantee her graduation!” 

His tone was tinged with fear. He didn’t want Brian to give him trouble over the decision to expel Ariana. Brian- the largest investor of Glea College–had gotten the previous dean transferred because the ex–dean had offended. Evelyn 

Christopher decided that he couldn’t repeat the same mistake. 

“Since you know what to do, you’d better work on it now. I do not wish to see those rumors about Ariana again.” 

After Brian gave the ultimatum, Christopher hurriedly assured him, “Don’t worry. Leave it to me. I promise there won’t be any issues!” 

Brian hung up right after that, while Christopher wiped away cold sweat after the conversation. He regretted not thinking twice before acting, especially knowing the dire consequences of offending someone like Brian. 

At that moment, Derek entered Christopher’s office and laid out the documents regarding Ariana’s withdrawal from college. 

He simpered, “Mr. Gail, I’ve gotten the withdrawal form ready. Could you sign it and…” 

Christopher tossed the papers back at Derek. “What withdrawal? I need you to remove all the online comments about Ariana right away! I do not wish to see any discussion on her withdrawal from college before I go home
