“I have Mr. Lodge backing me up. Why should I be afraid of William?” Vance snarled. As his lust took over, he took his shirt off, looking excited. “You like talking big, don’t you? I’ll let you talk and scream all you want!”
“Let me go, Vance! Don’t touch me!” Ariana shouted.
Vance sat on her and stuffed something like a ball into her mouth. Then, he whipped her. “I heard you were willing to do anything to suck up to Brian, Ariana. Tonight, I’m going to see what exactly you’ve done to please
Ariana recalled the humiliation she’d suffered before her death as she watched Vance lean down. Would she have to suffer the same fate despite being given a chance to start over?
Did she owe Brian her life?
No, she didn’t! The heavens had given her a second chance at life, and she wouldn’t give in so easily! She refused!
Ariana struggled with all her might. She suddenly got a burst of strength and sat up, ramming Vance’s forehead with hers. He cried out in pain and backed away.
Using the remnants of her strength, she took the ball out of her mouth and rolled out of bed. Vance grabbed her by the hair and said, “You’re not getting away that easily! Don’t tell me you think you’re some chaste virgin–you’re just Mr. Lodge’s used goods!”
He dragged her up and threw her back onto the bed. This time, he wasn’t giving her the chance to escape. He tied her to the bed with a rope and said, “I’d like to see you get away this time!”
Just then, someone knocked on the door. Vance was getting into the mood, so he looked impatient at the interruption. “Who the hell is it?”
No one answered. Instead, the knocking continued. He got out of bed and opened the door, snapping, “I don’t need room service. Fuck-”
Before he could finish his sentence, he was kicked in the chest. He lost his balance and fell to the floor. “Who th fuck are you?”
He looked up to see William standing at the door. This stunned him. “M–Mr. Kingsman?”
He paled in fright. Why did William know he was there?
William looked down at him contemptuously. It was almost as if he were looking at trash. “Fuck off!”
Vance was scared out of his wits when he saw William. He looked like he’d been pardoned from death row when he heard William telling him to fuck off and scrambled out of the room.
