"Huh?"

Everyone was a little surprised when these men suddenly walked in.

After being interrupted time and again, one of Wang Xing-Duo's subordinates got irritated and just started shouting away, "Where did these bastards come from?"

"Can't you see that we're carrying out official duties here? You're really bold! How dare you!"

As his subordinate was angrily shouting away, Wang Xing-Duo also turned around in annoyance.

But when he saw who had come, he was instantly alarmed. His body trembled as he shouted, "Xiaoliu! Shut up!"

"You seriously just shoot your mouth off!

How can you simply insult anybody!"

Wang Xing-Duo immediately yelled at his subordinate before running up with a placating smile on his face and offered a pack of cigarettes. "Hello Mr Liu, it's been a long time since we last saw each other."

"Did Mayor Han give you a holiday? What brings you here today?"

Wang Xing-Duo had already placed the cigarettes into Liu's hands.

Wang Xing-Duo knew this driver of Han Dong-Min's.

The Bureau had to report to Han Dong-Min and pass him several documents and messages, so this driver was the one who did a lot of the legwork for Han Dong-Min.

After some time, they all got to know one another.

"Manager Wang, what a coincidence, you're here too. I'm here to settle a few things, what about you?" Liu clearly recognized Wang Xing-Duo and replied with a smile.

While speaking, Liu took out one of the cigarettes that Wang Xing-Duo passed to him and lit it.

Even though Wang Xing-Duo wasn't in a very high position, he still had some power. He wasn't high ranking enough to be in contact with Han Dong-Min, but he could still get to know Han Dong-Min's driver pretty well.

Even though Liu was just the driver for a government official and didn't have any power himself, he was still one of Han Dong-Min's.

The status of being someone constantly by Han Dong-Min's side was enough to make a lot of people around him try to butter up to him.

Wang Xing-Duo was one of them.

He always called him Mr Liu and always sounded so friendly.

"I'm here on official business too. This Mufan Real Estate has broken the law and operated illegally. So I've brought my team to seal it off and take time to investigate it," replied Wang Xing-Duo very casually.

"What did you say? You brought your team to seal off Mufan Real Estate?" Liu got a terrible shock when he heard these words and the cigarette in his mouth fell to the ground. The sparks nearly burnt his nose hair along the way.

"Manager Wang, are you out of your mind? Are you trying to drive Mayor Han to his death? Do you know who owns Mufan Real Estate? It belongs to Master Ye! How dare you touch Master Ye's assets! Hurry up and leave with your team!”

Liu was instantly shocked and his face paled after hearing what Wang Xing-Duo said.

Why was he here?

He had come with everyone else to apologize to Ye Fan!

Liu never thought that this Wang Xing-Duo would actually bring a team to seal off Mufan Real Estate. Was he courting death?

According to their investigations, Mufan Real Estate belonged to Master Ye's wife. In other words, it belonged to Ye Fan.

Han Dong-Min was the one in charge of the Industry and Commerce Bureau. Mayor Han had already offended Ye Fan in the morning, and now his subordinates were making trouble for him in the afternoon?

So after Liu learnt about this, he immediately became furious and told Wang Xing-Duo to leave with his men.

Then get lost! You blind bats, how dare you investigate just anybody?!" Liu yelled angrily and continued to curse.

Wang Xing-Duo's subordinates were really frightened by this man.

But Wang Xing-Duo's expression started to darken.

His face was grim as he looked at Liu and smiled coldly. "Mr Liu, you're really throwing your weight around like some official, huh?"

"You are just a driver and you have no real power nor status. I used to give you some respect and offered you good cigarettes and talked to you nicely. But you're not really worth anything, really. Now you dare to just shout at me and order me about? You're just a bloody driver and you think you can do such a thing to me?"

Wang Xing-Duo treated Liu with respect only out of respect for Han Dong-Min.

But now that Liu was behaving like this, Wang Xing-Duo didn't care anymore and decided to just fall out with him.

Liu was just a driver and Wang Xing-Duo never had much regard for him in the first place.

But just after Wang Xing-Duo had said these words.

A cold voice rang out from behind him.

"And what about me?"

That low voice was filled with incredible rage and authority.

As these words fell, a middle aged man was accompanied by many others like a king as he came up the steps and appeared within sight of everyone in the lobby.

Wang Xing-Duo's face twitched when he saw who had come and was frozen to the

spot as if he had been struck by lightning and his brain exploded. His eyes were wide open as he looked in disbelief at the man in front of him. His voice was hoarse and trembled, "Mayor...Mayor Han?"
