"Yu-Yan, do you know these folks?" asked Lu Tian-He perplexedly when Ye Fan and the others entered Guangyue Restaurant with all that fanfare.

After all, Lu Tian-He witnessed the entire spectacle for himself.

Judging from the Ye family's reaction after these three people turned up at the restaurant, they were clearly acquainted.

"No, we don't. He's just a live-in husband. Why would we know someone like him?" replied Ye Tian coldly before Ye Yu-Yan composed an answer.

Ye Tian had already collected himself from the earlier shock.

Even now, Ye Tian refused to believe that Ye Fan was anyone who mattered.

He merely assumed Ye Fan was indulging in Young Master Lei's glory.

"Mr Chu, what do you think? Was the welcome grand enough? I know you like keeping a low profile and prefer not to divulge your identity, so I didn't tell the restaurant who you really were. I only told him your last name was Ye," said Lei Ao-Ting with a proud smile on his face as though he wanted Ye Fan's approval.

Ye Fan nodded and replied, "Thanks for the kind intentions. Did you and your father tell anyone that I'm in Jingzhou? I'm here to spend the new year with my mother, so I don't wish to be disturbed."

Ye Fan went back to his hometown so quietly because he didn't want to be disturbed.

Before Ye Fan left, he turned to tell Lei Ao-Ting, "I'm handing Jingjing over to you. Take care of her. I'll be right back."

"Mr Chu?" asked Lei Ao-Ting. Although he wanted to ask, Ye Fan had already left.

All that remained for Lei Ao-Ting was the view of Ye Fan's skinny and imposing back!

Downstairs in the main hall.

Many people were happily chatting while eating.

Ye Fan sat down at an empty table. He picked up the teapot and poured himself a cup of tea, and started drinking it.

"Oh look, isn't that my cousin? Why are you drinking tea by yourself? Didn't you lap up a lot of attention when you arrived with Young Master Lei? Why? Did you get chased downstairs because you didn't serve Young Master Lei well enough?" ridiculed Ye Jian. They were having dinner nearby when he happened to see Ye Fan and instantly pounced on the opportunity to hurl insults at him.

Ye Ya instantly sneered when he turned to see Ye Fan, "Some people just like to rub shoulders with the rich and powerful and keep wanting to take shortcuts. Ye Tian sneered coldly too, "Humph. You good-for-nothing! You're going to completely embarrass the Ye family sooner or later!"

"Enough. Just cut it out," said Dong Mei to Ye Tian. She couldn't bear listening to them ridicule Ye Fan.

But Ye Fan merely shook his head and smiled when Ye Jian and the others insulted him. Then he replied in a deep tone, "Uncles, regardless of whether I'm a good-for-nothing, I suggest you hurry up and leave if you don't want to suffer."

But Ye Fan instantly triggered Ye Tian. Ye Tian threw his chopsticks on the table and shouted furiously, "You brat! How dare you? Are you trying to revolt? How can you threaten your uncles? Why?
